This park is really hard to find as there isn't any clear markings or signs that you can see from the road so just in case anyone else is having trouble - it's the third driveway on the right once you exit the traffic circle and there's a big sign that says "Quarry" on it (I can't remember what else it said) and you pull in there and then you can park and the entrance is right there. You can park in either of the other nearby parking lots and walk along beside the road but it's not accessible from those at all. There's a nice boardwalk along the river and that's about it, it isn't a long walk, and it's nice, but probably not worth the difficulty of accessing it if you're driving as it's not...
Read moreLovely little river walk! It is quite a short loop maybe like 1/3 mile but nonetheless a good little spot for a short nature walk. Cool wildlife, saw a crane in the water and was within 10 feet of a deer on the trail. There are a handful of stairs to get down to the trial but after that it’s flat. Some of the turns are a bit sharp so probably wouldn’t be the best to bring a bike on it.
There is just a small little brown sign with the park name leading down to the trail. Very easy to miss with map directions. If you get to the condos, drive back slightly but stay on the same road and you will see the brown sign...
