Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Washington Township

The customer service at this location is awful. Many have already posted that they close early all the time. Recently had an experience where the guy working the grill came to take my order 15 minutes before the end of the day. After his eye rolls, he said “No I am not making that we are closing soon”. He walked away, went in the back and started slamming things around. Then came back and asked if I still wanted the sandwich. I said yes and he went in the back and started mouthing off and slamming more things. The other associate had to tell him to leave the building. She made the sandwiches and rang everything up. Others in the store were discussing similar experiences with him. I spoke with the manager the next day and was told they were “working” on getting the closing early issue fixed and that this was not this guy’s first time having problems but they couldn’t get rid of him because they are short staffed. The food was great but the service totally rocked. The female behind the counter who I think was a manager did a wonderful job. However, 2 other employees who were high school boys were doing their jobs. One kid was sweeping the dining area. The mgr had to tell him twice he was doing a good job. The other boy who was working behind the counter grilling our sub stopped once to make sure our sub was cooked thoroughly, then continued to talk to the friend while trying to wrap our sub which didn’t affect the time in which I received my sub. Not sure if Dublin has a mask mandate but none of the employees were wearing masks, but that’s not my problem Also, we got there at 8 pm-an hour before close & they were out of Italian/white bread, which is understandable because perhaps I should be considerate and understand places are busy sometimes and run out of stock. I learned a very valuable lesson today and that’s that the world doesn’t revolve around me and I shouldn’t comment on things I don’t understand. Overall very good...
