Nestled on a quiet corner of the city, Maman is a charming little coffee shop that feels like a hidden gem. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by the comforting aroma of freshly ground coffee beans and a cozy atmosphere that invites you to unwind. The rustic decor, with its kitchenette type furniture and soft lighting, creates a welcoming, almost homely French like vibe.
What really sets Maman apart, though, is the friendly staff. The baristas Aiden and Fred make you feel like a regular, even if it's your first time visiting. Their warmth and attention to detail elevate the experience, and it's clear they take pride in their craft.
For those with a sweet tooth, the selection of pastries is not to be missed. The freshly baked almond croissants are buttery and flaky, while pairing wonderfully with a “red eye” iced coffee with a shot of espresso.
Overall, if you're looking for a peaceful place to relax, work, or simply enjoy a delicious cup of coffee, Maman is the perfect spot. It's a little oasis in the midst of a bustling city, and I’ll definitely be...
Read moreI dropped by on Wednesday to try out their pastries and coffee. I ordered the lavender latte, a croissant, a banana walnut bread and a citrus olive oil cake. Yes, all for me to try. All I have to say, Im going back everyday, specially for the olive oil cake. The only bussiness I will supporting during my work days. (I bring breakfast and lunch, DC is too $$). The lavender coffee was perfect with the suble hint of lavender that made you feel at peace. The croissant!!!!! That buttery taste and the perfect flakiness, (the reason for my visit). 5 stars. The banana walnut bread was delicous with its chocolate bits and crunchiness. Perfect european sweetness. But my favorite definitely was the olive oil cake. I can decide if it was the sweet topping, or the bread and the delicate olive taste or the citrus hint, but Im in love. To the pastry chef and the owner of this amazing place. Thank you!!!!!!!!!! Read more8/27 update: the workers at this Maman are the best! Kevin gave service with a smile today and it reminded me why I continue to drop by this location.
Petite Maman is becoming a favorite place to grab something sweet! Laila and the rest of the crew are always so polite and give excellent service. While this location is a small space, it's so bright and airy inside that it feels bigger than it is, and there's outdoor seating to take advantage of now that the weather is nice. Every time I stop by, they have a solid selection of treats. I've never been disappointed by anything I've gotten! And a bonus--they carry the exquisite La Fermiere French yogurt in the little clay pots, which I've had trouble finding in stores lately. Be mindful of the hours because they do close promptly at 5, but it is worth hustling to grab something on...
