I dropped off a Nintendo 3DS on Thursday to have its ribbons reattached. I cleaned the console, but did not have the right tools to reattach the ribbons, and confirmed with the shop that they could do the repair. After calling for 2 days straight and getting no confirmation on price or when my console would be ready, I was told on Saturday at 7 pm, an hour before they closed, that it was ready.
Picking it up this afternoon, I paid an additional $5 in parking, because of an unexpected break. When I tested the console, the touch screen was not responding.
The tech opened the console back up only to note that a disconnected cable (one he noticed during the repair and thought had no purpose) was severely damaged. He implied that it was my fault. If the store could replace the touch screen, the tech didn’t offer that service and I wouldn’t have taken it. I am leaving 2 stars because the tech reattached the ribbons he could (Great job! You did it!) and when I called the other day, a truly haggard-sounding woman pleaded with me to be patient as everyone in the shop is “trying their best”. Be assured, I would rate this business zero stars if I could. Leave consoles here at...
Read moreThese guys will take care of you so quick! Friendly and very understandable and also price worthy for repairs! My go to for all electronic repair needs! Took my Xbox for repairs yesterday they immediately found the problem (9/27), they told me it’ll be done by 2-3pm I didn’t mind leaving my Xbox with them cause they seemed like trust worthy people. Around 11:30 the next day the guy who does console repairs told me himself he could’ve done it on 9/27 but he didn’t work that day but said he can get the repair done less than 2 hours!. On 9/28 get a call from one of their employees saying that my Xbox was ready for pickup! The best part is that before handing over the Xbox to me they verified the repairs by hooking up the Xbox to their storefront TV and show you that the repair has been done! Will refer my friends and family to these guys! You’ve earned...

I looked into fixing it myself--maybe within my ability but I would have had to wait for the io port replacement to arrive. So instead I brought it into Sajib at Phone Repair Tech. He told me he had the original Apple part in stock, gave me a good price, and told me to come back in a couple hours. A couple of hours later I go to pick it up and the laptop is as good as new!...
