I have to say, the food and service here is pretty inconsistent. The first time I went here with my boyfriend and a friend, we were here to watch a college football game. It took our server only 20 minutes to tune into the channel for us. He was super nice though. We were there at 7 and I ordered sweet tea. About 30 mins later I asked for a refill and our server claimed that they are out and will not make tea for the rest of the night but he can refill me soda instead. I was shocked to find that a restaurant that opens till past midnight stops serving a beverage at 7:30pm. But since he was very nice and polite I decided not to give him a hard time and went with a coke. We ordered a lot of food and they were mediocre. The wings looked over fried and dry, but we didn't care much. At the end, we ordered a dessert that has ice cream. Our server brought it out to us without any utensils. The default utensils they give you when you sit down are forks and knives. We asked our server if he could bring us out some spoons so we can eat our ice cream, and he said that they were out of spoons. We were pretty upset at that point. We asked to speak to a manager and the manager quickly brought us 3 spoons. Maybe he cleaned some immediately, who knows. It was a long night and we found out our server got sent home early because of the spoon incident. We felt bad, but it was just unacceptable.
After we left, my boyfriend was still upset so he wrote to Buffalo Wild Wings Corporate and complained. He basically said everything I wrote above with an expectation of never hearing back. His feedback was forwarded directly back to the branch's manager and we received a response from him apologizing about our experience and said that he did hear about our incident from his associate the next day. He invited us back to the restaurant and told us to ask for him when we return.
We decided to give it a second try since our comment was recognized and given attention to. We returned for another football game with our friend again. This time, our server was super friendly and our food was amazing. The wings really look and taste delicious and our cups were never empty. At the end of our dinner and game, we asked our server for the manager that wrote to us. She was a little shocked because she thought we didn't like her service. The manager greeted us and we told him we were the disappointed customers from a month ago. He asked about our second experience here and said that he really wants to take care of his customers because we were the ones that keep the business running and him employed. He ended up waiving our entire bill except for the beers. We left very happily (who wouldn't with free food?) and hope to go back for the third time and have the same great...
Read moreThis was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at a BW3. I’ve been to over 20 different locations around the country and I’ve never had such poor service.
It was a Sunday evening and there were approximately 27 patrons in the restaurant. Not at all busy for a B-dubs. Our group of 4 sat down at 5:20pm on a Sunday evening and were greeted within 5 minutes. We placed an order for 2 waters, a tea, two beers and our server said she’s be back to take our food order. She returned 5 mins later with one water and the tea. It took another 5 mins for the two beers to show up and the 2nd water was missing. We placed an order for a chicken wrap, some boneless chicken (nuggets), cheese curds and 30 wings extra crispy, 5 flavors, celery and carrots. The chicken wrap came out fairly quickly along with the nuggets 5 mins later. One couple had all their food minus the cheese curds. My girlfriend and I waited another 20 minutes before asking about our wings. Mind you it had been 35 mins since we’d ordered at that point.
During that time we witnessed one of the staff lay down under a table for a nap within one of the side rooms of the dining area. This was most unusual. see picture attached.
We were visited again by our server who we’d not seen for 15 minutes. She claimed that extra crispy wings take an additional 12 minutes and they’d be out soon, as if to say it was our fault for being difficult. Wings left in the fryer for an additional 12 minutes would not be extra crispy, they would be charred to death.
As a chef and regular lover of wings, I found this insulting and untruthful. 5 mins later, 30 wings showed up but were only 3 of the 5 flavors we’d ordered. Our server explained that the kitchen had screwed up and they were making us another batch of one flavor (still one short). Half the wings came out hot, the others, not so much. We never received our 5th flavor and the carrots and celery never showed up. We had to ask about the cheese curds and they were delivered 10 mins before we expected to leave for an engagement which we’d planned for 90 minutes of time to order and eat.
We hastily ate 4 wings each at the table because we were starving at this point and took the rest to go, late for our engagement. The server offered no accommodation or discount and we left terribly unhappy.
I highly encourage someone from corporate to visit this location unannounced. There appears to be a serious lack of diversity within the staff and I feel it may be a...
Read moreI ordered 15 buffalo wings from (BWW) on grub hub ($37.85). There is no option on the grub hub app to ask for the wings well done aka "Fried hard". Instead I called ahead before my driver got to the establishment to pick up the food to ask can this be done. I was asked for my name which I gave and spelled out TWICE only to be told " I don't see your order" re-spelled my name several times with no luck, even gave my phone number as a alternate option. I asked for a manager who got on the phone as was just as un knowlegable on how to find my order as his co-worker. Stating: "how am I supposed to know it's you? I cant find your name " as I reply" I'm the only one calling about 15 wings from grub hub" Altogether I ended up calling 3 times and waited until my grub hub driver arrived to call the establishment again. Once my driver arrived I called him to see if he could give the phone to the manager for me so we could speak and he could see my order from his phone. My driver unfortunately did not speak English so didn't understand what I was trying to accomplish! With much anger and anxiety now I desperately call the establishment one more time before they give some chewy wings to my driver. They answered the phone and addressed me by my name handed over the phone to the manager who immediately said yes we have your order your driver just arrived now that he is here we will prepare your order for you. WHY COULDN'T YOU JUST SAY THAT THE FIRST TIME!?!?!? I PAID FOR THE FOOD WHY ARE YOU WAITING FOR THE DRIVER IN THE FIRST PLACE!?!?!? All this we don't see, we don't have, then have the nerve to give me attitude like he's right while backing up his co-worker to turn around and say yall start cooking when the driver arrives!!!???? So what QUE was my order in that determined the proximity of my drivers vehicle that made my name appear in the system? Just say u made a mistake! Then finally get my food my napkins look like they were ran under the water then put in my bag. My chicken wing box is so SOGGY it can't hold the wings! These are very OBVIOUS SIGNS! THAT MY FOOD BEEN DONE AND WAS SITTING IN A BOX IN A BAG WAITING ON YALL TO GET ORGANIZED!!!!!! I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THIS RATCHET PLACE EVER AGAIN AND WILL DEFINITELY GIVE A BAD REVIEW EVERY TIME I HEAR THE NAME BUFFALO WILD WINGS. Yall from Ohio anyway it should be OHIO wild wings cause yall giving...
