Great establishment for those looking for raw vegan and/or healthier alternatives to the standard American diet. I appreciate the customer loyalty rewards program and discounted prices when you order online which helps offset the prices (a little pricey for my budget haha). I got the So Real cold pressed juice which was absolutely delicious and the coconut crab wrap with the sprouted wild rice and kale sesame side salad. Fertari, the owner, even gave me more than what I ordered and added an additional side of their deep sea arugula which was so kind, thank you! As for the food, the sprouted wild rice and deep sea arugula were great and I enjoyed the kale sesame but think it would have been better with a dressing (I don’t think mine had any outside of light oil). My only real critique is for the coconut crab wrap which was not anything close to the texture of crab meat or what someone would be expecting if going for a mock crab meat. Instead, it was more on the mushy side the last 2-3 times ordering this entree which has been a huge disappointment because it used to be my favorite when I first started ordering from here. So hoping that the original recipe can return as the original way was a very good alternative and spot on (flavor and texture wise) for those looking for an alternative to seafood without sacrificing on the taste and texture that ppl go for when ordering crab entrees and transitioning. All in all, I think it is a great establishment and much needed restaurant in the food industry as we have very limited healthy let alone raw living food options here in America. I would say the highs are their cold pressed juices, sides, and fresh kosher produce but room for improvement in their entrees when it comes to consistency. Thank you for all you do! I believe it is a gem in the rough and that Cane & Coconut will reach that unprecedented mark with continued practice and labor...

I don’t even know if this is a real store 😭 , i ordered coconut water from them and i never got my package. I keep calling them but no answer.

Following up from my review, When i called them they didn’t even know i ordered from the site they told me i would be getting my package in a couple days and told me i should get a text that says its arriving. I tried calling them back after 2 weeks from when we last talked but they didn’t pick up. I think they only answered the phone when i left this review. Which is good but they stopped answering their phones after that. Its been a month since i ordered and i they told me they have other orders from out of WA. It’s a good price for the coconuts but delivery is really really slow. I really don’t see how it can take this long. I wouldn’t spend money for this place because it’s so mismanaged. Go buy from someone who answers the phone.

Another unfortunate update on cane and coconut (probably last)- i called them and got put on hold for an hour and i had to call back told me they already shipped out the order and i would get a text message. I never got anything. I called again because he said there would be a tracking number sent to me through text but i never got it, i tried to explain that to the person and they hung up on me. I really wouldn’t order online or in store from this company because they will just...

I'm so insanely impressed with this little restaurant! Normally I shy away from raw vegan because I have a tendency to assume it's going to be bland, but the menu looked so interesting that I had to try it. IT WAS FANTASTIC!!! I got the coconut crab wrap and two side combo. The wrap apparently already came with a side seaweed arugula salad so I tried that along with the live fries and sesame kale! Plus, they had a tiny bit of plaintain left so they gave me a sample of that too! The wrap itself was small but the sides were very generous!!! It practically made two meals! They also gave me a tiny sample of the dandelion herb to try and just for coming in they threw in a mango! I left with so much food!! The only thing I would note about this place is that it's strictly takeout; there is no seating. Also the live fries have a kick, which I liked, but I don't recall seeing it noted anywhere). The coconut crab wrap was mushy. I still enjoyed it but this may not be the best pick for those with texture aversions. Also, just a recommendation, the smear that comes with the sesame kale is really good on the seaweed arugula. Shout-out to Aisha (sorry for any misspelling) for being such an amazing human!! 100%...

✨ Raw, Fresh & Alkaline Living at its BEST ✨ I had the most LOVELY experience at @caneandcoconut in DC — an informal alkaline lifestyle eatery just a few blocks from Howard University. 🍃 From the moment I walked in, the friendly and knowledgeable staff treated me like a VIP and even surprised me with a fresh mango. 🥭💛 Here’s what I picked up: 3 Soursops @ $19.99/lb 3 Glass Bottles of Alka-sol Soursop Leaf Water 1 (32 oz) Glass Bottle of Alka-sol Detox Water (pH 7.5–9.5) 1 (32 oz) Alka-sol Fat Burner Water (pH 7.5–9.5) Fresh pressed seeded Watermelon Juice 🍉 A Coconut “Tuna/Crab” Wrap with a side of Super Kale Salad drizzled in the most AMAZING dressing 🌱 ALL RAW. ALL FRESH. ALL VEGAN, ALL HEALTHY. 🙌🏾 I can’t wait to go back for more herbs, fruits, juices, and plant-based snacks. They have everything from avocados, coconuts, mangos, pineapples, seeded watermelons, grapes, cherries, peaches, mamey sapote, papaya, lychee, rambutan, dragon fruit, soursop, jackfruit, sugarcane, cacao, raw organic noni, African red sea moss, Medjool dates… the list goes on. 🌍 If you’re ever in the Nation’s Capital, head to Cane & Coconut and tell them Melissa sent you! 💚

The best raw vegan and juice bar in the dmv. I’ve never tasted raw vegan food like this before. It’s such a treat to have food of this quality and taste when you’re following a raw diet. The fresh pressed juice is my favorite part. You will not find fresh coconut and cane juice anywhere else locally. I’ve only had this in parts of Florida/ South America and raw food festivals. I highly recommend trying this place out if you’re vegan, veg- curious or raw-curious. They sell delicious fresh fruit and vegan snacks. I highly recommend the coconut crab wrap, curried cabbage and buffalo cauliflower. The cauliflower is my favorite. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable about the various products in house!!
