cloudM Washington DC Capitol — Restaurant in Washington

I was there for after work get together on a Wednesday in June. The location was nice. Somewhat intimate with A great outside view of the Capitol dome.

Not a very large place so our group of 20 people overwhelmed the bar staff. They were great and worked hard but the two of them weren’t enough really.

There is a QR code for a menu but you can’t order food at the upstairs location. At least we couldn’t.

Not sure what’s going on with this place but seems like they don’t want customers. Last call was at 8:50pm on a Friday night despite their own website saying they are open until 1am. Drinks were reasonably priced for the quality but definitely felt like an intentionally unwelcoming place the way the staff slammed shut the gate effectively kicking out confused tourists. Doors to the outdoor area on the roof were locked and also had to have an employee operate the elevador since we didn’t have a key card as non-guests.
