UPDATED - Christmas Eve 2021. I almost didn't leave an updated review, but I felt it was necessary. I placed an order online for three medium pizzas for Christmas Eve; obviously, I would pick them up at a specific time and then head to my destination. Two out of three of my pizzas, I used my points for "free" medium pizza; I was able to get two free medium pizzas due to the fact of having enough points saved up; the third one was a regular pizza that I was paying for. About thirty minutes before the time I was to pick them up, I decided to log in and view the tracker that Dominos offers their customers; well, to my surprise, my order was canceled and for no reason. I called the Domino's store and inquired why my order was canceled and why no one had contacted me; the guy I spoke with, after looking into what had happened, had no explanation, was just apologetic. The good news was that he could get my order ready quickly; I did explain to him that two out of three of those pizzas were points used for free ones, he said it was no problem. We went to pick up the pizzas, and Dominos on the 303 had taken care of me and didn't even charge me for the third pizza, and as usual, the pizza from the Dominos on the 303 was incredible! And the gentleman that I was dealing with at the store was friendly and mannerly; unfortunately, I failed to get his name. Thank you, Dominos, for making this right!
3/2020 NEW REVIEW Dominos Pizza, when did they change and get SO MUCH BETTER? Can't say I miss cardboard crust or ketchup sauce. Spring of 2009, Dominos was shut down by the health department due to some disturbing behavior by some employees in North Carolina. It was a great wake up call for Dominos, from that terrible incident, led to a decent inexpensive pizza. That was then and this is now, my husband and I frequent the Dominos pizza on the 303 in East Bremerton. In a hurry? Dominos it is! Also, love the fact I can get a salad there, yup I need some greens with my overdose of pizza! Over the past few years, there have been a few little mistakes, I asked for extra cheese, they left the cheese off or purchased an extra ingredient, they failed to put on it, none the less there has been more right time than wrong times with Dominos and both of those times they did offer to make me a new one, unfortunately, our stomachs were the deciding factor. And the employees are always friendly. Like I said, decent inexpensive pizza, you can't go wrong. My issue doesn't lie with Domino's, my issue lies with the lack of parking space. Dominos shares a building with Starbucks, if I see a front parking space (which is rare) I am unable to get to it because of Starbucks drive-through line or I am unable to pull/back out due to Starbuck's drive-through line. There are a few more parking spaces but those are shared with Starbucks, Taco Bell, Taco del Mar, and Quiznos. Plus, the Domino's App is easy to use, and if you join their rewards club, after purchasing so much you are given a free 2 topping medium pizza! So last thoughts, if you want an inexpensive but good pizza, or you are buying pizza for a group (they have some great coupons) Dominos all the way! If you are wanting a gourmet pizza, perhaps sit down and enjoy that gourmet pizza, you head to Seabecks, but you cannot compare the two, they are both pizza and they both serve...
Read moreI had the most disrespectful customer service experience from their closing manager last night. I’ve never experienced this from Dominos until last night and it has just ruined my good trust in this branch. I placed an order for delivery at around 7pm and found out that they left it at a different unit. I am so upset because with the no contact delivery I didn’t even get a call to let me know that the order had been dropped off. So I called and spoke with the manager that night and was very rude to me he was talking so fast telling me how the driver started 2 weeks ago and how he has 80 other orders he needs to deal with when I was just trying to give recommendations on how to better their customer service all I was trying to tell him was to have the drivers call the customer to make sure it got delivered at the right place but he wouldn’t even listen to that just kept on rambling his mouth talking so fast I couldn’t even understand what he was saying then he just hung up on me. I called back and asked “are you the manager that just hung up on me?” Then he had the nerve to be proud about it and say “yes I am the manager and yes I did hang up on you. I’m just going to cancel your order I got 80 other orders to deal with” then click he hung up on me again. Then at around 9 or 10pm I find my order sitting outside my door. Now I’m not sure if this was my original order that my neighbor found and saw that it was for my unit number o. The receipt and just decided to place it at my door or if the branch came back again to deliver it. But then again I got no call to inform me so now how do I trust this box of food sitting outside my door? And even if the branch did deliver it again how can I trust that my food is safe after being treated that way by the closing manager? The only reason why I’m giving this a 2 star is because when I called today at 1:30pm to find out if last night the branch did come back and leave food at my door. The manager that I spoke with was complete opposite. He listened to me and understood where I was coming from. He gave me a large pizza credit to my name and re-assured me that they will try to give me better customer service in the future. He is the only reason why I have calmed down already. So...
Read moreI stopped ordering from dominos. Here's why ... they won't let you customize your order online the way they used to. I used to be able to order a pasta bowl and have extra sauce added. Now you don't have the option; you have to call in instead (which defeats the purpose of ordering online) ... so I order online and then I call to try to modify my order but every single time I call my order is already out of the oven (even when I don't submit it until the phone is ringing to mod my order), every single time. They finally told me this last time I ordered that they start working on my order while it is in the cart ... so, you don't even have the order finalized yet and they are already working on it ... so what happens when you remove an item or change an item? This leads to inaccurate orders and orders you can't change. So the only way to get my order right is to call in and place the order, which I hate doing, ... so I don't.
Anyways, I also tried working with them, just asking for extra sauce on the side, so I can add it myself, but this is impossible????? They can't give me sauce on the side. They've always got some excuse why they can't accommodate my request.
So, it's nothing but failures for dominos. I've complained to corporate, I've complained to this store, I've complained on social media ... I've been complaining now for about 3 years ... I've placed dozens of orders and then I call to mod, they can't mod, so I cancel my order on the phone. 25 cents in alfredo sauce or waste the $30 order ... they'd rather waste the $30 order, it's absolutely mind boggling how stupid they are.
Anyway, it's 2021, I shouldn't have to call to place an order for them to get it right. Dominos needs to get with the program. We've been to the moon, we're working on trying to go to mars ... but dominos can't make your order the way you want unless you follow their explicit direction and even then, they'll still probably...
