After buying a house, we finally decided to buy some quality furniture - particularly a couple sofas and a chair, as I can't build them and used ones are usually trashed. After looking at the selection locally, we found what we wanted at Ennis - hand-tied springs, hardwood frames, and made in the USA.

I'll admit, after years of used furniture and things from Ikea and the like, the prices gave me pause, but after living with the furniture for a few months, I do not regret the decision to buy from Ennis. The chair alone weighs more than our previous $700 sectional purchased at a discount store, and all of it is so much more comfortable, sturdy, and better-looking than what we had before.

Robbin, our salesperson, was great and really tuned in to what we (the wife) wanted. A surprising bonus was a design service which definitely added value from my point of view. Robbin came to our house, took measurements, and discussed what we were looking for. Several days later, we met up at Ennis and were shown proposed layouts with different materials and colors, which made it easy to decide how everything would come together.

Later, when I was told the chair I chose was on back-order, I was offered a discount on a similar chair or - get this - a "loaner chair" to use until my order arrived. Robbin actually offered to send me, free of charge, a brand new leather chair to use for two months while I awaited the arrival of the chair I had ordered. Amazing customer...

Just received my stressless chair. It is beautiful, comfortable and incredibly supportive. Thanks to Donna Preston, Mark, Rachel, and the delivery men for doing a wonderful job. I am off to sleep in the chair!

Four months after I wrote this rave review, the motor quit on the chair. I really feel bad writing this review and try to be positive about my actions, but the repair guys came out after ten days but they brought NO parts and didn’t quite know what to do and how to fix it. Now they have ordered a new motor and that may take about three weeks to arrive, supposedly. They did not let me know how long it would take, so I had to initiate a follow-up call. I paid about $3,000 for the chair and I have not been fairly treated and am very disappointed.
