Good food, especially the sushi. There were around 20 sushi and nigiri options. I had to ask for a strictly vegetarian roll for a friend and they made it but it’s a shame they didn’t have any sitting out. Vegetarian options were generally lacking. Consisted mostly of fried food and salad. Chinese food was decent albeit Americanized (as is every Chinese buffet), especially the crab rangoons and sesame balls. The pork bun was pretty good, as were the wontons. Only 4 stars because food wasn’t great (just good) and Saturday prices were higher than expected. They had dinner pricing all day, which makes sense but was not well-advertised. Monday-Friday lunch is 17.99, dinner and weekends are 22.99. All in all better food than Canaan Buffet, but worse desserts and no lunch Mongolian station. Didn’t seem fair to pay a premium for weekend service when the menu was the same as weekday lunch but obviously the restaurant is more popular on the weekends.

Osaka Room was amazing. Our hibachi chef BJ was incredible! He was so funny, entertaining and down to Earth. Both couples in our party ordered the Lovers hibachi meal, complete with Filet Mignon, Lobster, Shrimp and Scallops plus fried rice, chow mein noodles, and hibachi veggies. The lobster and scallops were amazing, the shrimp were huge and delicious, and the filet Mignon was so incredibly tender. There was hardly any need for sauce or extra seasoning. There was soooo much food, we all took leftovers home. Excited for a late dinner tonight and lunch tomorrow. This was definitely worth it and we all can't wait to go again. Thank you BJ and everyone else for making our first hibachi experience unforgettable!

Please figure your place out. I can't keep going here when one day you have good food and tons of seafood, the next day no seafood, the next no live seafood, the next day cold hot food, the next day no Mongolian grill.... Make up your mind and work on making a few good things at a set price. Bring back the grill, it's literally half of the experience. Have fresh food. Have hot food. Too many major health concerns to eat here. Edit as of 1st of the year: Came in to see if they'd fixed it. They haven't. Steam tables were cold enough to grow bacteria. I brought this to their attention and was informed "the probe will say it's hot enough" well lady, I had a thermal camera on it and 69.3F isn't hot enough.

Food was absolutely terrible. Wish I had checked the buffet before I paid. Food looked like it had been sitting out all day. Three people spent about $50/60 dollars to eat seriously dried out veggies/dishes, or broccoli that was grey and absolute mush, Inedible batttered chicken bits that had to have been out for hours it was so nasty and so hard you could barely bite it...shrimp that was literally mush so over cooked, squid that was leather, battered shrimp was hard and disgusting, and that was only some of the food I tasted. Afraid to even try the sushi. Ate four steamed clams, tolerable, and several mushrooms and some hot and spicy soup. Out of the whole buffet those were basically the only things that were semi edible. Wonton soup was also tolerable, but only a few wontons available to add to soup. And then went to get pineapple and peaches for dessert...they had obviously been out for hours too...very little flavor and peaches were hard...prob also been out all day. And that's not counting the food that was not available or so low that there was barely anything but a little bit of hard gloopy sauced foods. Or the two chicken skewers that were clearly dried out and had been sitting out for a long time. And to add to it several of the dishes had dried on food bits, and one we found a hair on! I'm seriously hoping that we don't get food poisoning...especially since I focused on seafood... kudos to anyone who might have been able to get their money back. We were so disgusted and tired at that time (about 8 pm) we just left. And also the whole time we were there maybe two or three other groups showed up. This restaurant should be closed down! I do not write reviews based on one bad experience...and always try to give a restaurant the benefit of the doubt especially in this time when it is hard to find workers and after Covid and everything....but this was so terribly bad I feel other people...

To start - this is an Asian buffet and so that is the base I will be using for conducting this review.

The food is really good. Considering the general lack of solid Asian options in Spokane (with respect to the West Side) the quality of the food is up to par. While it isn’t a Michelin restaurant, for the price the food is great. The chefs regularly come out to check the food options and to make sure people continue to observe sanitary food habits around the buffet. They also have a to-go option allowing you to buy food by the pound, something I love to do now that I can no longer eat as much. I really have to call out the dumplings. Their dumplings are hand made fresh every day. They taste great and have a great texture. The steamed dumplings are my favorite.

The service is adequate. The servers Sam and Lily (apologies if I got those wrong) are really cool. If you treat the staff with respect they act in kind. We’ve have some really neat conversations about school and work during slower hours. They’re personable and help to remind you that this is a small restaurant owned by a family as opposed to a massive chain. I have a deep appreciation for both the front and back of house workers here.

The atmosphere is your super-typical Asian buffet. It was exactly what I expected, but was exceptionally clean. It was exactly what I wanted out of this style of restaurant.

To go pricing was $7.99 a pound, or a little more if you went for the...

I was so excited to try this place and it was HORRIBLE! I wasn’t going to leave a bad review because I was told I could get a refund but now because they won’t follow through with that, here we are! I went in on a Monday night just before dinner, everything was dry like it was sitting there for hours, the sushi was room temp, just sitting on a plate! They didn’t keep it in a cooler or on an iced plate or anything! So we didn’t eat any sushi for fear of food poisoning. What we did eat was terrible! Dry and hard! So we decided to leave and go somewhere else. I stopped at the hostess desk and asked for a refund. She told me that they do give refunds but that she didn’t know how and there was no one in the building who did know how! So I left my name and number and was told I would get a call back! They didn’t call me back, so the next day I called them! Again I was told to leave my name and number and they would call me back when they were able to issue me a refund. Again I never heard back! So again I called today and was told that because I wasn’t given a receipt ( not my fault) that they couldn’t issue me a refund and I am just SOL because they don’t want to look through the receipts to find mine! I am very upset! I wasted $60 on crap food!!! WAAAAAY...
