Franklin's Restaurant — Restaurant in Washington

I don't usually do bad reviews, I believe people sometimes has an off day. This time though I went here with my friend and it was bad. I ordered the chicken parmesan and a side salad. My salad was full of wilted lettuce, it looked as if it was pre-made then left to sit out. So I asked for a new salad due to mine being full of wilted lettuce. I could hear them FUSSING in the kitchen about it! Our server was told to tell me that's the only lettuce they had, I refused to eat it I just put it to the side. I did thank our server but I don't trust such a bad attitude. So I started eating my chicken parmesan, I cut a piece of the chicken and attached to it was a straight piece of hair, longer than my own. It was firmly cooked with the chicken, I had to really tug to pull it off the chicken breast. So I let our waitress know. No One, came over to speak to me about it! That is poor mangement! When I asked about it I was told it wasn't their Hair by a Server, No Mangement still!!!

Mind you I am an African American woman with short curly (natural hair). Though "they"implied it WITHOUT seeing me it wasn't My hair. My guy paid for the whole meal! Why didn't mangement handle this situation! Why were we charged Full price for someone's apparently Cooked hair and wilted salad. I am very disappointed in a business that should take pride in their services to the public. Management really fell short. Never again will I. I wanted to speak to the manager but my guy insisted we leave so I did as he asked, but I thought this place was honest and fair with it's...

I loved this place but service has gone down hill slowly. We go at least once a month because if appointments in town but I won't be going back after our last visit.

My mom and I both order. I am unsure of who seated us but I think it was the hostess. She was helpful and attentive. I can usually handle a waitress that isnt at our table much, but my food was awful and they let me sit without eating.

My mom and I both ordered biscuits and gravy. It was also the only food I got. I told the waitress and she responded by telling me that no one else had an issue. My mom tried mine and even said that it was not the same. It was lumpy and tasted like flour. I sat the entire time without eatlng and the waitress avoided our table. When we finally went up front to pay because we couldnt get a ticket at our table. I mentioned it again. Our waitress told me she didnt control the food and just worked there so she couldn't do anything about itso she was sorry. I took it home to my dog as am effort to feel better about paying for it but she wouldn't eat it either

I have waited tables, been a good manager, and eaten at many food places. I would have never aloud a customer to sit with an almost entire plare of uneaten food. If the company is hurting so badly that they can't offer to remake a plate of biscuits and gravy, they probably should call if quits so either the owner has gotten outrageously stingy or my waitress was extremely lazy. Not a place you want to be if you have more than 4 people in your party. We came with a group of 6 and the wait staff let 3 parties go before us, instead of just putting two tables together. We ended up settling for a booth, and one person in our group sat in a chair at the end of the table.If you're bringing a lot of hungry people it's probably best to find a different restaurant that will put effort into getting your party seated.

Service was HORRIBLE waitress came to the table to get our order....and never came back after we got our food. We had to go up to the counter to get our drinks refilled and after we we had asked the waitress slammed all of the water cups on the table getting the table wet and "accidentally" spilling some on my wife.
