Ok, tried this place again after waiting a couple months. If you want to eat at a Chinese buffet and don't want to drive a hour, this is really the only place to go. I do have to say that it wasn't half bad this time. My only real complaint is it was very hot even though it was only 20 degrees outside. I came here on a Friday night around 5 pm. I had read somewhere on the Web dinner was $8.95 which is false. It's a little over $15 and that's with a glass of ice water. I still don't think it was even close to being worth that. But, when you have no other choice, then what are you going to do? I went back yet again, third time. Took my crew of workers here for lunch. One of the guys found a piece of wire in his chicken and broccoli dish. Yes, I said that correctly, a piece of wire. It's in the pic I posted. Yes this place is beyond terrible and I want people to beware, because if we found wire in a dish there's no telling what else that you don't see is in their food. Don't eat here, it's the worst Chinese restaurant I've ever been to. I decided to give it another try. Went for lunch on a Tuesday around 11:30. Again, it wasn't crowded and again, it wasn't great. If you're not picky about quality, and just want to get filled up. This is probably the place for you. To me, the foods below average. I also was expecting to pay $7 or $8, no, it was over $10 for one adult. Now, I definitely will not return here to eat.

Dinner on a Friday, Terrible! I love Chinese food, I even crave it usually once a month. So, when my roommate and I decided a week ago to try New China's buffet, I looked forward to it all week. I read the reviews, I even talked to a couple people who said it was excellent. Unfortunately, it was far from even good. I'm a person at a buffet to try a little bit of everything then go back and get what I find taste the best. I couldn't find anything that was even edible. Everything tasted like they had dumped a salt shaker on all the dishes. At first, I thought maybe it was me, that maybe my taste buds were off. No, because my roommate agreed 100% with me. We went on a Friday night around 6. It wasn't real crowded at all, which is a pretty good sign it's probably not going to be great. The crab legs that usually you can never go wrong with, tasted like when you get a mouth full of sea water at the beach, dirty salty dish water. The egg roll tasted like a rolled up old wet rag after you had just washed a sink full of dishes. The list goes on, nothing in my opinion on this buffet was edible. My roommate tried a Big bar B Que rib that looked delicious, looks were deceiving, because he almost threw it up after a couple bites. The crab Rangoon had very little filler if any cream cheese at all. Even the banana bread pudding had banana's that were so old and mushy it ruined the banana pudding. And after not being able to eat anything, the bill was $34 for two people. Their service wasn't great, but it wasn't terrible either, just average. I don't recommend eating here, and I personally will...

Came in 20 minutes after the place opened. Went got food off the buffet which you would think would be super hot. Got to table which was literally 4 steps from the buffet and sat down to eat. The food was lukewarm or flat out cold. Told the waitress about the food. Asked if they would check the buffet setting so the food would be warming for when I went to get my replacement food. Waitress tried to explain to me how a buffet worked as if I was stupid and couldn't even explain herself had to get two other waitresses to try to help. Needless to say they never fully for the explanation out to me. Then she went to reach for my plate to go warm it up in the microwave. YUCK! so I went to get a salad thinking how can they mess up cold salad. The bacon bits was soft not crispy and croutons tasted stale like they had been sitting out for a week in a fridge. So I gave up eating anything else. Waitress comes to the table with the ticket and explains they are taking some off for the trouble. I get to looking at it and they took off less than the tax for the whole meal. Talk about insult to injury. I was disappointed in the whole visit. Drove 30 minutes for crappy food and service and insulted. I won't be eating here again which is a shame since I use to really...

My fiance and I went here for lunch after a long day of shopping. The food was what you'd expect from a buffet, or more simply put, it was decent. Atmosphere was also what you'd expect, some minute decor, a few other customers. The reason I'm giving this a 1-star isn't even because of the service, per se. My fiancè was paying this time around, and everything was going smooth. After we got our receipt, she was writing a tip on the ticket. We didn't get any refills on drinks, so we thought adding a dollar over rounding up to the nearest even dollar on the ticket was fair. The waitress complained, and my fiancè has social anxiety. In a panic, she wrote in a $5 tip just to get the waitress to leave her alone. Needless to say, we will never be returning to this location, and perhaps a New China again. We would much rather spend more on higher quality food, and tip better to those who deserve it, than return to an establishment that is okay with their staff exploiting...

They need to update the seats and do a deep clean. The ceiling panels around ac vents were very dusty right above all the food. The seats were all ripped and filthy see photos. If this is what the front looks like I got nervous about the back where customers don't see! The air conditioner did not work so it was very warm inside. They did have a portable ac unit, you can see in attached photo, but it was not keeping it cool at all. The woman cleaning tables and plates were friendly. They just really need to update/remodel or something.

Fresh sushi...not even close. I posted a photo of the Ahi Sashimi. I alerted one of the staff that the sushi looked very old. I even said you should remove it before someone takes a photo of it and puts it on the internet. They apologized but did they remove it? Nope. They appeared unconcerned. It looked more like bacon than tuna. See photos. Seriously. Would ya look at that? The rest of the food was of the same caliber.
