My experience at Gidi chow was quite an amazing one. The restaurant's ambiance was warm and inviting, with afrobeats music playing softly in the background. The red spicy decor caught my eyes. But what truly stole the show was the food. The Gidi burger combo especially for me.The Gidi noodles with suya also stood out for me as well. The meat was tender and flavorful, with just the right amount of spice. The Jollof Rice was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The fried plantains were sweet and caramelized. The service at the restaurant was also top-notch, with friendly and knowledgeable staff who were happy to explain the different dishes and make recommendations. The portions were generous and the prices were very reasonable for the quality of food we received. Overall, I highly recommend Gidichow to anyone looking to explore Nigeria’s street food at its finest.. It was a truly memorable dining experience that I can't wait to repeat.

Been African and haven’t been home in a while and seeing a taste of home away from home, I had to check it out. I have mixed feelings, a tad disappointed but kudos to the management for the idea. It’s giving home, very mindful and demure😁. BUT the quality is the food isn’t it at all, i ordered noodle, egg and beef suya and turkey suya. The noodle is a little salty and spicy so if you love spicy food then this will make you sweat. The beef is tasty but dry and same with the turkey suya. The turkey suya tasted like it was made days ago and it was warmed too long and the moisture is sucked out. I will give this place another try and see if anything changes. You can make your recommendation based on this review.

I ordered the noodles with fat (beef) suya. All the pieces of beef were fat smh.. every last piece. The plantains were burnt. The shawarma I ordered had sticks INSIDE of the wrap. The woman taking our order was pleasant. The atmosphere… ATROCIOUS. So many young children loitering outside. When we were placing our order, young folks were in our personal space and they were not even ordering. Needless to say, the food was subpar and did not live up to the expectation. Will not be visiting again. The 3rd picture below is the suya we picked through to eat and every piece is fat.

Gidi Chow stands out as an exceptional West African dining experience, earning a well-deserved 5-star rating. From the moment you step inside, the warm and inviting atmosphere transports you straight to the heart of West Africa. The decor, with its vibrant colors and traditional artwork, sets the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable meal.

The menu is a delightful journey through West African cuisine, offering a variety of dishes that showcase rich flavors and authentic ingredients. Each dish is meticulously prepared, and the presentation is both beautiful and appetizing. The Jollof rice is a must-try, bursting with a perfect blend of spices and accompanied by tender, flavorful meats. The Egusi soup is another standout, with its hearty, comforting taste and generous portions.

Service at Gidi Chow is impeccable. The staff is not only knowledgeable about the menu but also passionate about sharing the stories behind each dish. Their recommendations are spot-on, and they go above and beyond to ensure that every guest has a memorable dining experience.

Whether you are familiar with West African cuisine or trying it for the first time, Gidi Chow offers an authentic and delicious adventure that leaves you wanting more. It's a true gem in the culinary landscape, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a taste of...

I’m so upset right now. My first order on your site was delayed for over an hour. My second order arrived on schedule, thanks to Uber eat. I’m currently with a friend and decided to try again and you guys just disappointed me again. What’s the problem with Nigerian restaurants and being consistent ? You serve with Big boxes today and you serve with small boxes tomorrow (for same price). Why are your portions not consistent and why are you cutting my turkey into pieces without my consent? My first and second order last week, came with jellof rice, plantain and Turkey in one box (as seen on your website) . Today, you are sending several tiny boxes of food. At the overpriced rate that you are selling, this is pure exploitation! You can’t put up a fixed price on your website and decide to be flexible with your portions or serving style. The food is overpriced and I honestly can’t stand this kind of poor customer service. Definitely...
