This has very quickly become my go-to carryout/delivery place. The food here is SO GOOD and has a unique flavor profile that I haven't had anywhere else in the area. I've sampled a number of dishes at this point: Thukpa Soup - delicious, hearty, especially great when under the weather. Hot & Sour Soup - delicious and spicy, great proportion of vegetables, tastes quite different from the Chinese takeout version (in a great way) Lamb Momo (with red spicy sauce) - really unique flavor and VERY tasty. I've ordered this twice now. Chicken Chow Mein - pleasantly surprised that this was a bit spicy! Very satisfying and tastes quite different from the Chinese takeout version as well. Chicken Biryani - Great flavor, love it! They do it right! Paneer Masala - Great flavor, love it! They do it right!
Looking forward to trying even more things...
Read moreIncredible little hole-in-the-wall Nepalese restaurant! This unassuming shop may not look like much, but they are cooking up some of the most incredibly flavorful moh mohs in the DMV. I randomly dropped by Moh Moh Licious for a quick Sunday lunch, and I was incredibly impressed by the top-tier cooking, and speedy, friendly service. I got their vegetarian moh mohs and lentil soup. The soup was WAY larger than I was expecting and both rich and flavorful. It was the perfect accompaniment to the moh mohs, which were remarkable. The wrapper was perfectly thin, with a slight bite and enough structural integrity to hold all of the delightful veggies inside. The filling was well-seasoned and made even better with the dipping sauce they served on the side. Truly such a comforting, delicious, and super affordable meal; could not recommend...
Read moreCharming little place with great food, friendly staff, and excellent service. I ordered the pork momos and achari lamb. Taste wise they were excellent, but the serving of the Achari Lamb was too small for the price in my opinion. Food also didn't come with any veggies, which is a miss in terms of a balanced meal for me. lf you want to eat in, keep in mind the dining area is super tiny (3 tables with max seating for 8 ppl total).
If you are relying on Google to help guide you to the restaurant, be sure to note the entrance to the restaurant is on Georgia Avenue itself. I followed Google maps, which led me to behind the restaurant and discovered there was no rear entrance and so had to double back. Be sure not to make the same...
