Ledo Pizza Georgia Ave, DC — Restaurant in Washington

Not sure if also common with adults but they treat teens like crap!!! Me and my friends often go to this Ledo pizza and we have always had been treated with very bad customer service! We always have to get the waiters attention to order & get our check . They always ignore us and pretend they don't see us when we need assistance. Once the waiter got my order wrong 2 times In a row. I asked for a veg in pizza and no. Got something else. I could have told the manger and got my pizza for free !!! but I didn't tell the manager because I didn't want the waiter to be in trouble or get fired but I was very frustrated. I Went home with no satisfaction but regret for being a loyal customer. Today we experinced the same horrible customer service but was told that we were ' rude' because we were fed up them and tired so we didn't feel like playing their famous ' I didn't see you ' games so we walk to the front to pay for our meal since they were being rude and trying to ignore us, when only two tables were occupied!!! Also there were so many dirty tables including the one we sat a but didn't complain about. We clean our own table, we received dirty plates so we wiped them down ourself. THEY ARE REALLY RUDE , if they don't know how to talk to people and make sure that the dinning area is well maintained, Then they shouldnt be working at ledos ! I used to love going there but know I HATE IT THEY ALWAYS BRING MY SPIRIT DOWN WITH THE POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE and RUDE LOOKS. ALSO! The waiter almost always force tips!!!!!!! I’d give 6 stars if I I could. This is only my 2nd time having Ledo’s Pizza. We were craving pizza and the recent reviews of the other local pizza restaurants were kinda bad. Saw good reviews for the Ledo’s on GA Avenue so figured I’d try it out. Long story short, I ordered online in advance. Got to the restaurant a few minutes early and was pleasantly surprised at the curbside service (after a year of quarantine and lots of curbside restaurant experiences, this is one of the few that’s actually doing a great job at true curbside, socially-distanced service). By the time I gave the young man my name and looked for a spot to wait in the lot, another server was already bringing the food to the car. Wanted to wait until after we ate to post this review. I normally don’t have issues when I order to go or dine in but today was different. My friend was given the wrong food and she had to speak to the manager in order to get she what she originally ordered because they guy who served us offered her “something else” instead of what she ordered.

As we ate I noticed a big water bug crawling towards us and it ended up under our table. I was so disgusted that I couldn’t eat anymore. The manager came and got the bug from under our table with his foot and then killed it. He did apologize and said an exterminator comes regularly it the bugs just keep coming. He didn’t offer any discount for the inconvenience. I will not be returning. They also need to change the carpet and seats in that place.
