Just got here from Pittsburgh, Pa. It was our first stop once we got to D.C, traveling with kids, we started looking at the menu and some of us went to wash our hands in the restroom which was in a public area for customers assumably. The owner had the audacity to tell us that we needed to buy food first before using the restroom otherwise the door wouldnât open because we need the code thatâs printed on the receipt which changes each time. We opened the door as it was unlocked and he pretended to be surprised. He told us itâs a law in the area that you must pay prior to using the restroom and all âpolite customersâ ask to use the public restroom after paying firstâŚ. We decided at this point we didnât even want to support this business, so he tells us now he is paying for the water we used and arenât paying for since we are leaving. Which we tried to pay his little 5 cents after doing all that and he said itâs not even about the water. Ok lol! I find this rude and very unprofessional. We own a business ourselves in pa and we donât treat our customers this way. What a shame! I understand that we are in another city away from home, but personally we wouldnât tell anyone no to using the restroom just because they are not spending, or just havenât...
Read moreâźď¸đ¤˘ The Gyro Sandwich may be the worst food I have ever had (if you can even call it a Gyro Sandwich). It had little-to-no meat, old brown lettuce, a disgusting amount of sauce, and it was cold. 𤢠Additionally, for something worse and smaller than a day old Taco Bell burrito it was $15 + tax + tip. GROSSLY over priced, extremely poor quality and not to mention misleading/scam (?). đđ˝â ď¸ It was supposed to come with fries -- according to THEIR online menu and as seen in other reviews online. We did not receive fries. Pretty simple mistake. When asked, I was told I ordered just the wrap, although I had PAID the price of the Gyro Sandwich w fries. I was told, "No". If I could give 0 stars, I would. Literally, anywhere else would be better. There is a wonderful Michelin Star Diner (Unconventional Diner) down the road with great quality, good portions AND similar prices. đđ˝â¨ Go there, go anywhere else.
Other things to note: It was dirty. The staff came out of the bathroom and went to "wash" their hands behind the counter. They used NO SOAP and just rinsed their hands for not even 5 seconds. đ¤˘đŤĽ Need...
