It was on high recommendation by close friends to see the play Drunk Shakespeare and we were so happy to find out that there were nightly shows during our stay in Washington DC. We had a BLAST!!! The theater is a small space which makes it more intimate and the performers are excellent in interacting with the audience and drawing them into the play which makes it a very entertaining and enjoyable experience! The cast and crew were very friendly, full of energy, and each performer was so talented, so Shakespeare savvy and gave a fantastic performance! It was loud, sometimes raunchy, there's lots of drinking, but...

10 Aug.2023 Took me and my two young adults(23,son & 21,daughter)to Drunken Shakespeare and we had a wonderful, engaging, energetic, and continuous entertaining evening. Crazy raunchy way to hear Shakespeare(Macbeth). Exceptional ensemble. Such positive vibes all night. Amazing audience participation. I love bidding for the throne seats costing (Penny and her husband)only $90.00 extra for those seats. A totally different and original experience every night. I’ll be back for another...
