Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Washington

My first experience here was awesome. One of the ladies had pleaded I come patronize them again. I promised I would. This was two weeks ago.

Yesterday, I decided to go have lunch here. My order was not properly taken. I watched two ladies have over 7 orders made. I asked for my money back because I was running late considering travel time. I heard her call out to someone saying "trash." I wondered how the owner is able to make profit. I'm a special Grill Master, #GrillMasterNaji, #NajitheGrillMaster. I have ran a Food truck in Washington DC. A current certified Food Manager, licensed within the DMV.

As I was counting 45 cents on the table to get back a $50 bill, one of the girls said I was being rude. I asked how. She said I should be giving them the money not placing it on the table.

I said to her I wasn't being rude and she should have a better and polite manner in talking to me. I picked up the coins and dropped them in her palm.

Not for a tall guy there who had to physically touch her arm and asked her to stop, she was already about...

Jersey Mike's has become one of our go to places. My wife enjoys deli sandwiches very much and the quality here is consistently high. This shop produces such great sandwiches compared to other places around town, that literally the day she gave birth to our child, and felt like she could have deli meat again, I was sent on a mission from the other side of the City to get her a sub and bring it back. We have had cold cuts, cheesesteaks, and chicken cheesesteaks--everything was excellent. The staff here is standout too. Everyone is friendly, welcoming, enthusiastic to be helpful, and seems happy to be there. They seem like they have fun working together and they do a good job. We have always been happy with our experience and will continue to frequent this Jersey Mike's. The manager has terrible customer service skills. I placed an online catering order for 19 sandwiches at 10a. The system gave me a pick-up time of 11:48a; I called to confirm that the order would be ready, they confirmed. I get there to pick it up, the young man behind the counter was pleasant. As he was boxing up the order, I sit at a table to wait, here comes the manager yelling across the store: “next time order the day before, your order messed us up!”. Really?! My $327 corporate order messed you up? No problem, I will make sure my corporation doesn’t ever order from you again. So the luncheon planned for next week, will not be catered by Jersey Mike’s. Next time keep your mouth shut… I was actual going to compliment and tip extra for having the order ready on short notice and refer your store to my teammates.
