McDonald's — Restaurant in Washington

I wouldn't even give this restaurant a rating of 1 except for the fact that I had to in order to leave a review.

I went through the drive thru on Saturday night. I ordered two burgers and I pulled up to the first window to pay the cashier, she was less than friendly sitting down and not looking at me which is whatever (just not very good customer service). I proceeded to pull up to the next window to wait for my burgers. As I was waiting for my order the cashier came up and was waiting for the burgers to come up in the window. She proceeded to blow her nose, not once, not twice but three times and did not wash her hands nor did she use hand sanitizer. She then grabbed my Burgers put them in a bag and handed them to me. I told her that, that was disgusting that she blew her nose and did not wash her hands and touched my food. I told her that she's spreading germs and she needs to wash her hands and she had the nerve to say to me "what's the big deal, there's wrapping on them". Yeah, there's wrapping on the burgers , but I'm supposed to touch them and eat them, that's just disgusting. I was just so dumbfounded that she didn't get why it was disgusting.

Needless to say I was so disgusted I will not be returning. I can't even believe that was her response to me. How...

I live around this neighborhood and I've only gone three times to this restaurant. Both occurrence was a drive through and one dine in. The first time wait was long and food was not fresh either. I just thought "you know I'm a forgiving person this is a slip, it's okay". Second time was done in with family and it was good. The third time today, again I waited and they were actually busy, I got to the window for my food, and again my food was not fresh either. I ordered a Big Mac meal large size with a sprite and I only got the finish the large sprite.

Lost of 2 stars for quality and freshness of food.

Lost 1 star for wait of food and end result was not better.

Lost if 1 star for no employees including managers no "please", no "thank you", no smiles or even asking us to come back.

If I could provide a score of zero stars this feedback be it.

Never coming back.

Update 8/24/19: New construction and looks like new employees and management? Looks way more professional and clean. I would come back and check this place out. Until then, I’m afraid I’d still be fighting...

It's McDonald's! So you pretty much know what to expect. However, most, if not all of the local McD's in this area are owned by the same person and he is a stickler for quality of service and product. So while some locations will give the the last scoop of French fries, all little ends and pieces, you'll get a generous scoop of nice long, fresh fries from this store. The ice cream cones are almost famous from this franchisee's locations as well.. a generous, tower of soft serve that'll make your eyes bigger than your stomach, like a child!

This owner gives back to the community in many ways and has a reputation around here that has always been good. You know when you've been to one of his locations. Even the transaction at the drive thru ends well, with a "have a nice day!" Or equivalent. So many fast food places fail on this point, leaving the customer wondering if the transaction has ended. The person hands you your food and simply walks away and you aren't sure if they're bringing another bag or if you're free to drive away. I've never had that...
