My partner and I were really excited to try this place, but we found the experience meh. First, we were sat in the basement, which has a very different ambiance than the upstairs (which is really cute). The basement feels unfinished and has a very different vibe than upstairs.
Food was just okay for us. We had the wild boar tagliatelle and lasagna which were fine. Next time we'd both try something else.
Service was a little off, and I'm not sure if this is because the restaurant is pretty new or maybe understaffed in the basement. We felt rushed to order entrees, had to request a bucket to chill wine, and then had to ask for a check after waiting for a while. However, our food came out really quickly, and the waiter was nice.

We took a chance (since we have never been there) and loved the food and our Mules (alcoholic drinks). I had the Linguine Ai Frutti Di Mare. It was delicious, as was the side order of bread. Food was very solid, verging on excellent. The pizza was well constructed, and the carbonara was delicious. Wine bottles start at $45 and go up. Our $55 Barbera was very nice. Dinner for 2 (1 app, 2 entrees, and a bottle of wine) came out to just under $150 after tax and tip.
It's not gonna win any awards, but it's a solid option in a part of town with limited dining options. We'll be back and I hope...
