My partner and I were really excited to try this place, but we found the experience meh. First, we were sat in the basement, which has a very different ambiance than the upstairs (which is really cute). The basement feels unfinished and has a very different vibe than upstairs.

Food was just okay for us. We had the wild boar tagliatelle and lasagna which were fine. Next time we'd both try something else.

Service was a little off, and I'm not sure if this is because the restaurant is pretty new or maybe understaffed in the basement. We felt rushed to order entrees, had to request a bucket to chill wine, and then had to ask for a check after waiting for a while. However, our food came out really quickly, and the waiter was nice.

If we went back, I'd try the pizza or maybe just swing by for a drink/snack at the bar. If you're making reservations, I suggest requesting...

I found this spot on a whim. My friend and I were rained on and cold, I looked at Google Maps and saw Pacci's was super close. We took a chance (since we have never been there) and loved the food and our Mules (alcoholic drinks). I had the Linguine Ai Frutti Di Mare. It was delicious, as was the side order of bread. I would definitely recommend this place to others. I gave 4 stars for the atmosphere because cold air was blowing on us and we were already cold from the rain so that was a bit uncomfortable. I would love to travel back to DC to visit this place again though. Love...

Went with my partner and had a fine time. Prices are in line with other upper scale Italian joints around the city, and the location is very convenient for the cap hill area. Food was very solid, verging on excellent. The pizza was well constructed, and the carbonara was delicious. Wine bottles start at $45 and go up. Our $55 Barbera was very nice. Dinner for 2 (1 app, 2 entrees, and a bottle of wine) came out to just under $150 after tax and tip.

It's not gonna win any awards, but it's a solid option in a part of town with limited dining options. We'll be back and I hope...

5/5 Stars! The best Italian food in the Capital Hill neighborhood, and some of the best in the city! A fantastic neighborhood spot, the wine, pasta, and appetizer are all delicious. Highly recommend the Caprese, and don't even think about skipping dessert, the Tiramisu is a must have!! The price is very fair, and love the fact that they do NOT add any other "services charges" we are seeing nowadays. Will be making this our new neighborhood spot to go, whether it's for a date night or to take the whole family!

The food and service was excellent. We arrived before the dinner crowd and did not have reservations, so we were seated in the cellar, but it was still a very nice experience. The Lemon cacio e peppe with chicken was delicious and perfectly seasoned. The roasted red pepper tortellini was perfectly balanced. We could not leave without trying the desserts and so glad we stayed for hazelnut latte, tiramisu, and chocolate mousse were all so creamy and rich. Shout out to our friendly waiter, Aldrin.

This was my first time to DC and I can say this place set the bar high for food I will be looking for in future visits to the city. I love chicken piccata but it wasn’t on the menu, they were able to make it for me anyways! My girlfriend had the salmon special and it was hands down the biggest piece of fish I have seen served at a restaurant. Along with the great food, the restaurant has a very warm and comfortable feel almost like you are having a home cooked meal. Highly recommend!
