Capitol Hill Flats — Hotel in Washington

The Capital Hills Flats studio I had was great and perfect for what I needed on my first trip to DC.

Room: The studio was clean, modern and included a very comfortable bed, a kitchenette, plenty closet space, good sized bathroom with tub, and a nice writing desk that viewed the cute neighborhood. The kitchenette included dishes, silverware, a Kuereg coffee machine, etc.

Location: The flat was walking distance from the Capitol and National Mall. Everyday of my stay I was easily able to walk to all the different museums, memorials and monuments. Also, it is not far from Trader Joe’s or CVS if you need to pick up some snacks or maybe thing you may have forgotten or need. On the way there, you can pass by other local shops and boutiques.

Other Accommodations: Laundry machines and detergent are available for use in the basement. This was very convienient, especially for those that don’t want to pack a lot of clothes. Your own hamper was provided as well in your room. Lastly, the staff was very accommodating and was willing to assist me in any questions or requests I had.
