I want to start by saying that I’ve only been to this place once, and overall, it was an okay experience — just not one that would bring me back. Please know that what I’m about to say isn’t said with malice; it’s simply my honest impression.
The Good:
The location is easy to find and convenient to get to, with plenty of parking available. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the overall look of the restaurant was nice and appeared clean (though I didn’t look too closely). The staff came across as friendly, and I noticed a steady flow of people placing online to-go orders, which is usually a good sign.
The Not-So-Good:
Unfortunately, the service left something to be desired. The host who seated us — while polite — seemed disengaged and disinterested, spending a lot of time staring out the window rather than assisting guests. After seating my wife and me, she walked away without a word, only to return shortly after with waters and abruptly ask, “What do you want?” for drinks. The tone caught me off guard, and I just went with water.
Our main server had a much more upbeat attitude and was very kind to guests, including us. However, she was openly discussing personal issues and workplace drama within earshot of the entire dining area — even going so far as to loudly state that someone was lucky to have a job there. It felt unprofessional and disrupted the dining experience.
As for the food, it was unfortunately underwhelming. My wife ordered a Belgian waffle, which had no flavor. I had the eggs Benedict, but the hollandaise sauce was bland and lacked the usual lemony zest. The hash browns tasted like they’d been cooked without oil, and parts of the ham were cold and not fully cooked. I also ordered a side of bacon, which didn’t reach the kitchen until after I’d already received my main dish. It arrived surprisingly fast — and unfortunately, it was floppy and seemed microwaved. While the eggs were nearly done right, they were slightly undercooked — and I know eggs can be tricky to perfect, so I’ll acknowledge that.
My Final Thoughts:
This might sound like a lot, but it genuinely reflects our experience. Despite the shortcomings, I still left a tip — I respect the effort the staff put in, even if the execution fell short.
In the end, while our time there wasn’t terrible, it also wasn’t memorable enough to make us want to return. I hope this review helps anyone considering trying...
Read moreI went to Bothell to do an inspection related to work and my client was late, so I needed to use the restroom while waiting and stopped by patty’s eggnest, which was the closest restaurant. I asked the lady in the counter where the restroom would be. Her immediate response in a very rude manner was “you can’t use the restroom if you don’t buy something “. I was surprised why one person coming to their restaurant and using their restroom would be a big deal and why should she be that rude! I bought a soda and expressed my dissatisfaction and that I think she was rude too. The lady went on saying leave the property or I’m gonna call the police. I used the restroom (because I bought something as per her request) and then sit to drink my soda. The lady called the police and reported a disturbance and trespassing. That was very dramatic and I don’t know why she would think she can call the police unnecessarily and falsely accuse someone this way. Before leaving I asked her for a receipt, and not only she refused to give me, but followed me outside to take photos of my license plate! I didn’t want to waste more time than I already have but that really felt inappropriate treatment and very dramatic. It kept me thinking if this is because I was black and the lady is racist or is it just her personality. Either way, she this really disturbed me and felt disrespected! At some point, I saw how dramatic the lady was and I even started taking video. I called the police later to clarify things and explain what really happened. Definitely my worst experience! The lady just ruined my day!

Read moreThis would have been a single star review if it weren't for the friendly waitresses. I'd say this place had good ideas provided on their "specialties" page, and I was excited to try them. The flavors were decent but not great. The food looked like it was kind of thrown together on the plate and not much to look at. When water was brought out at the beginning, we had to ask for a new cup as there was lipstick on one of them??? We asked for a few extra plates to share the food and almost got another dirty item if it wasn't for the waitress noticing as they were placing it on the table and replaced it quickly. I did notice the table in front of ours and also had to ask for a new fork as it still had something caked on it. After getting about halfway through one of the dishes, we got a rather rude surprise with a bite of food ... a piece of white plastic?? When we addressed the piece of plastic with the waitress, she immediately apologized and asked if we were "okay" and said she'd take that dish off our bill.
I will not be going back here, nor could I ever recommend it to others, unfortunately. They had friendly waitresses, but that kitchen staff was for shame, which also reflects on...
