I've been here twice on a Saturday for brunch and each time I've experienced the same bizarre issue. I was very understanding the first time but to experience it twice in a row and months apart is bizarre.

Each time I've been the cashier let me and my colleague know that they were "backed up on orders" and "short on staff" (maybe delivery as the restaurant was nearly empty each time?) and asked for patience.

The first time, no problem. The second time, they added to come back in 10 minutes to place the order. We asked why we couldn't just place the order and we could accept that it would take a while before we could enjoy our meal, but we were again asked to come back in 10 minutes. Ok.

When we came back 10 minutes later to place our order, a different cashier said they were not taking orders. We let them know the first cashier had said to come back, and so they took our order.

The orders came out with no issue, and the food is OK, but now that Rose Ave Bakery is opening up, I'll enjoy brunch there in the future to avoid the weird hassle of ordering I've experienced at...

A pleasant bistro I would pick up daily lunch from when I worked in the neighborhood.

The menu boasts a diverse selection of delicious options, ranging from mouthwatering pizzas and scrumptious sandwiches to delectable baked goods and wine. I was particularly impressed with the quality of the ingredients and the evident care put into the preparation of each dish. The sandwiches were always generously filled with flavorful ingredients. The baked goods section offered a tempting array of treats, from pastries to desserts.

Service was always attentive, and the staff members were accommodating, creating a welcoming environment. The pricing was reasonable for the quality of food provided. A commendable spot for a satisfying meal with an extra cozy atmosphere on...

Rather disappointing visit. We went for breakfast on a Sunday. We ordered a breakfast sandwich and waffle. The sandwich was average, at best. The egg and tater tots were same quality as you’d get at Burger King. I’m not completely convinced they prepared the eggs fresh. They might have been pre-frozen with the cheese. The tots were definitely not prepared fresh, and what you’d find at the frozen section at your typical super market. The waffle was also mediocre quality. We’ve had better waffles from do-it-yourself waffle stations at hotels. The waffle came with individual syrup packets made of corn syrup. For a cafe, I also expect the coffee to be of higher quality. Disappointing and not...

What a beautiful find right before my family and I headed to the Smithsonian Zoo. This beautiful cafe had such a European vibe with their delicious brunch menu that satisfied everyone’s appetites. Their veg delight sandwich and their veg omelets were made to perfection. Their smoked salmon sandwich reminded us of Katz Deli style sandwiches. There is no wait staff… you order your food at the cashier and it’s brought to your table once prepped. It’s a boutique style cafe and it’s highly recommend for any and all party sizes, they also have parking in the back of the restaurant.

My husband and I visited this cafe for breakfast and very much enjoyed our meals. It's a really nicely decorated space - all the design elements cohere together beautifully and the food doesn't disappoint. I had a lox bagel and a honey lavender latte and they were both perfect. My husband couldn't stop raving about how good their iced coffee is - I don't typically like coffee and I thought it was good too, not bitter as I normally find it. I wanna try the affogato next time :3

Came all the way from Maryland just to eat here, and upon arriving, was told by the front desk that the restaurant closes at 3pm contrary to what it has on google (9pm) - ate at the cafe (basement subsection of the building) and the food was slightly above average, however the pizza I got was completely wet and soggy in the middle from oil. It tasted fine though. Got the bubble tea and the tapioca tasted expired or something, it wasn’t normal. Wouldn’t go to the cafe again
