Still no dining-in option. Food is good-very good, but possibly not worth the price for what it is. Ordered the 2 roll lunch special and the yellow tail roll was over stuffed which in one sense is nice but also sloppy and ultimately messy. Also ordered a shrimp tempura roll, which I often get from other places, and it was chock full of lettuce. Yellow/white lettuce so not even super fresh. But also, who wants lettuce in their rolls?!??
Delivery services seem highly prized and prioritized over regular customers like me who call in their own order and actually go and pick it up themselves. Host taking my order told me “15 minutes.” I arrived exactly on time, my payment was immediately taken, AND THEN I was told it would be “a few more minutes.” A delivery driver came and got their (small) order in that time. When they finally acknowledged my presence again, I told the host that I wasn’t pleased with having to wait after I arrived on time and she said, “oh there was a large order ahead of you.” I tried to tell her that in that case she should have told me over the phone that it would take longer, but she walked away and let the door close on me before I was able to respond. So when she came back, I made that complaint and do you think she acknowledged it and offered a quick sorry? Nope, instead she insisted, “I said ABOUT 15 minutes,” which was a lie to defend herself. But more helpful would have been to just say sorry for the inconvenience. Instead they lost a costumer, and hopefully some of the rest of you who don’t want a poor/rude...

I ordered 1 Unagi ( Eal ) Nigiri, 2 Uni (Sea Urchin) Nigiri, 2 California Rolls w/ Dbl Tobiko & 1 Avacado Roll. My belief was that I could sit down and have a really nice early dinner with my mother. Incorrect, I couldnt, my bad I guess I shouldve asked, but really It should've been told to me by the hostess when we spoke on the phone. Anyway, I decided to go ahead and do take out. The lady at the door was very kind and explained the whole COVID thing, OK fine you get a pass, that was my thought process. We received our to go order within 15 mins or so. Astetically, everything seemed to be fine. However, as soon as I ate my first peice of Uni I knew immediately that it was spoiled. So was the rest of the Urchin, badly. So spoiled u could smell it upon closer examination. The eal was lackluster but edible. Then I got to my California Rolls. The first two peices were edible, however the third had spoiled artificial crab meat. DO YOU KNOW how long it takes for that protein to spoil.??? A VERY VERY long time.! I wasn't even going to write a review, but I'm sorry I paid something like $70 for sushi I literally shoveled up in my arms and threw in the trash. Seemed like a good deal, and they were offering $10 off, but the pieces of sashimi were among the smallest I've ever seen, and I was immediately taken aback by a gassy odor when I opened the lid. Most all of them had a weird aftertaste. Some fishy, and some like gasoline? I love sashimi and wish I hadn't spent my Uber Eats here. I also got it as delivery, and for 15 pieces of sashimi, one half-full condiment cup of soy sauce seemed skimpy... but then again the pieces are so small, maybe it doesn't matter! But I really don't want to finish the sashimi anyways... I also got the friend banana, which just isn't very good. Total mush, couldn't hold a fork to it, and the breading is odd.
