Reliable Tavern — Restaurant in Washington

I had a great time until this "long time customer" came up to me and my friends tryna to interject. When I told him to leave us alone, he called me a c*nt so I walked away. A few minutes later we went out front and the bouncer was kicking this girl out because she was complaining about the same "long time customer". He said basically that that customer was more important than her and if she was gonna talk bad about him he would kick her out. My friend and I hopped in to defend her and the bouncer started yelling at us and threatening to kick us out. At one point, he said he would "get his pit bulls to tear us up". When I went inside to tell the bartender, no one said a thing, as if they didn't care. Honestly was loving everyone until that happened. Truly a disappointment but I WILL NOT...

Hands down one of the best cocktail bars I've been to. Ben (one of 2 "Ben" GMs) is a wizard with a shaker, and a magician with his muddler. Order a Bartender's Choice, and you won't be disappointed. The atmosphere is a great blend of local pub, industrial art space, and cozy hobbit tavern. This place also has pool downstairs (a fantastic bonus), and juke boxes jammed with great hits. To round it all out, they have a great selection of local beers on tap (Atlas, 3-Stars, and hopefully Hellbender in the near future), as well as awesome snacks/bites, called Kolaches, which are Czech-style buns filled with all kinds of goodies. I went for the free Thursday night underground stand-up with my girlfriend. It was our first time there, and we were warmly welcomed at the door by the bouncer who also said we were welcome to bring in our own food! There were 15-20 comics each with 5 minutes. Most of the jokes/bits are new material they’re trying out for the first time or smoothing out the rough edges of for paid shows, but they were still very solid for the most part. They were naturally funny and could read the room well which made their jokes land. Some were hilarious, some were meh, most were definitely funny. I’d love to go back, and I recommend...
