Revive Espresso & Tea — Restaurant in Washington

Extremely slow service. Awkward drive thru. Went there frequently. Good coffee. Last Sunday went out of my way to drive to Revive for coffee, got in line behind another car, no signs about them being closed at 2, waited 10 minutes to drive up to the window, and been told by the barista that they’re closed. They did not care that I was already waiting in line, or that there were no signs indicating that they’re closing and not serving any other customers after that car. Barista looked visibly shocked after I dared to suggest that maybe she should serve me because I have been already in line. A DMV of coffee shops. Does the owner care about...

I love the coffee here. I usually get something with caramel, and have yet to be disappointed. The blended coffees are the best I've had anywhhere.

The clincher though, the thing that recently made me a loyal customer was the service. While there, I asked for a glass of water half full for my son (toddler). The barista clarified that it was for a child, then proceeded to cut the straw shorter for his comfort, and put stickers on the top of the cup for his entertainment. Far above and...

Well, there's almost always a line for this place.

And ultimately the reason is because of the service. Literally everyone who works at this amazing little espresso stand is incredible.

They treat everyone like family... nope, scratch that... some family sucks... they treat you like true friends. The kind that grab a shovel and head to the woods with you when you call at 02:37 AM in a panic... the best kind of friends.
