Sicilian Pizza — Restaurant in Washington

Pizza is very important to me. As a New Jersey native, I have been searching for good pizza ever since I came to D.C. for school. I have tried to pick up pizza from Sicilian Pizza a few times over the past few months. The pizza is not "Sicilian" (or square, thick) pizza. It's regular round pizza. That's not the reason I'm giving this place one star, though.

The reason that this place gets one star is because of their consistently awful service. As I said, I've picked up pizza a few times from here. Each time, I've arrived within the timeframe that they quoted to me. Without fail, ever single time, I've had to wait 15 minutes or more to be served. That would be alright if the cashier apologized or made some show of making haste to complete my order. However, every time, the staff was either goofing off, not by the register, or flat out rude to me when I simply asked where my order was. One time, the staff even yelled at me! Is it so wrong to look for my pizza that was supposed to be ready over twenty minutes ago?

I won't be returning. The pizza is decent, but I'd rather suffer through Domino's or Papa John's than go to Sicilian Pizza and get treated like...

I don't know that "the greatest pizza" exists in DC, but this place is a major upgrade from the other pizza places I've endured in this city. The pizza ALWAYS has plenty of cheese on it (which we really appreciate! TY Sicilian Pizza, for not being chintzy!) the salads are fresh, the panini sandwiches are great, and the service is top notch. Lady on the phone is super nice and efficient, and the delivery person also. Another reviewer said he was sick, but in 6 years I've had just about everything on the menu and never had a problem, so maybe he just needed to wash his hands before eating or something.

Anyway, this is our go to pizza place and I give it 5 stars. I hope they don't get pushed out by any of these hoity-toity places popping up on H st, that have horrible food at...

People complain about food but me I prefer hot and ready food fresh out the oven you complain about a store name Do you go to Dominos and get 0-6 pepperoni on your pizza on every size Didn't think So I actually like Sicilian Pizza and they are really improving you guys seems to be impatient and whatever else you hungry people seem to be and you maybe complaining about the food and returning the next day for more I was one of them got my head out my ass and went back cause they are a small business but the actually satisfy me I feel like people speak just to speak Sicilian You Guys PiZZa Is Amazing size don't matter of store delivery could be faster I guess I don't really know I always pick up but still I enjoy it *Pick up is Always...
