Pretty straightforward, build your own taco, burrito, and maybe bowl, too? I didn't see. I ordered at the in person register. Then I saw there was a computer screen where I think you can also order. I probably should have done that because they did get my order wrong. Nothing crazy just asked for specific topping for each meat choice, and it was mixed up. And I was going to buy a drink but before I said something I was given my total. I also ordered guacamole 🔥🔥 really good! It was a shame the chips weren't too fresh. The first taco I ordered was shrimp with Pico ( but they put cilantro and onion), still a 5/5 and it went amazing with the spicy pineapple sauce. That was a winner! I still want to try it with the kimchi lime or Pico. 2nd taco was steak with cilantro and onion , I wasn't a fan of the meat. 2/5. 3rd taco was chicken. It had cilantro and onion, but I asked for the Pico on this one. Chicken was good, but you need to find the right toppings for it. 4/5 Over all 3/5. guacamole and shrimp taco saved this place for me. I won't be rushing back, but this is a good note to try things with different toppings next time. I think they should have a signature taco for each meat that people can pick from. Designing your own taco is cool, but having a go-to pick would help people fall in love with different items. Even having a taco of the day special. And for sure, chip and guacamole special so that more chips are getting ordered before they get stale. Gotta move product faster or order less inventory at a time. Price wise, I think it's automatic dollar too much for a taco. This place is right across the street from a university and on a busy street. There SOOO much potential with this place. Just gotta market and add a few things. Maybe even a student discount. This place is also in walking distance of thousands of potential customers, cheap beer might be a good add to this place. Aside from that, the place seem low key. And can seat like 15-20 people. It looks like they have room for outside seating. It's also on a corner, so I'd take advantage of that if they are able to. Next time im in town, I'll check out reviews and see if any changes have been made. So I might stop by again in the future to do a new review. Low rating isn't to say avoid this place. it's for the owners to make a few changes. Taco spots should be...

It’s really interesting to read all these wonderful reviews. Unfortunately, my experience was so disappointing that I’m actually writing a review. I was really excited to try them out and was disappointed by how dirty it was when I came in. There was trash left near the ordering kiosk (like someone ate their food there and left the rest) and food on another table that could have easily been wiped up. My food, honestly, just tasted burnt and flavorless. I ordered 3 tacos: chicken, shrimp, and steak; and all three meats were well over cooked. I ordered the sauces and pico de gallo on the side so my tortillas wouldn’t be soggy and even those didn't fix it. Come to think of it, they were flavorless too. The prices online are different than they are in store but it doesn’t matter because everything online is out of stock. They do not answer there phones so ordering ahead was not an option either. The cashier was really kind though so two stars for her! I’m the kind of person to try just about anything twice, but it’ll be a while, IF ever decide to...

The staff is very friendly (zero complaints there!), however ownership has changed the menu far too many times over the past few years - and not for the better. The Banh Mi Craze burrito used to be fantastic, but now it's just awful. As a vegan eater, I'd like to be made aware if a menu item that didn't contain dairy now suddenly has cheese in it (that happened). Then magically it was changed back again a few months later? They used to have a great menu with quality ingredients and each burrito was consistent! Now it's a gamble every time I go. The last three burritos have been very disappointing (LOADS of rice and almost no "filling") and whatever filling is inside is often concentrated in one section, not spread throughout. Is it the definition of insanity that I keep going back praying it will improve? I guess so. Very disappointed because 3 years ago I gave them 5 stars and loads of praise. If you could turn back time and do things exactly how they were 3 years ago I'd...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Far East Taco, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The staff was incredibly accommodating and helpful, especially when I needed a taco platter for guests we were hosting for dinner. They went above and beyond by separating the tacos so everyone could customize them to their liking. The food was absolutely amazing. We ordered shrimp, steak, and chicken tacos, and every single one was delicious. The guacamole was a standout – made from scratch and bursting with fresh flavor. The rice was fluffy and soft, complementing the tacos perfectly. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and well-prepared. The atmosphere of the restaurant was welcoming and vibrant, adding to the overall fantastic dining experience. I will definitely be back. Not to mention, the staff was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our visit. They're doing something right here at Far East Taco, and I highly recommend giving it a try.

UPDATE 4/23/21: adding a star back. Why? Because they’ve picked up the quality and consistency of the takeout food. Have ordered 3 more times since last year and have enjoyed it very time. Solid ameri-Tex like Mexican egg rolls and tacos that satisfy the taste buds but destroy your calorie count. UPDATE 1/4/20: dropping a star. Here’s why: Very significant decline in quality and volume of food since our last two experiences. We have ordered food from here three times, all delivered through Yelp (i.e. grub hub). Really disappointing because it was one of our favorite places. Quantity: There used to be two egg rolls per order. Now one. And the one we received was noticeably less stuffed with food. Quality: Everything we ordered was of lower quality than the past two times. The fried egg roll was soft and chewy. The pork belly was so hard to chew i gave most of it to our dog. Both orders of tacos were slightly cold when they arrived.
