SWEET RADISH — Restaurant in Washington

We ordered a spicy thigh combination and they were so tiny. It looks like popcorn chicken, not sure if that's what they were going for. I ordered a side of macaroni salad and it is good but such a tiny container. The coleslaw was even tinier and was warm and bland. It came with the thigh combination as did the "toast". The toast was smaller than a sweet Hawaiian roll and squished. It said two pieces but there was only one little roll smaller than a saltine cracker. The flavor was good. The original chicken sandwich was actually decent and bigger than I thought although the mayo was very slight so it needed a bit more on it. I couldn't see it or taste it. The waffle fries were very good but it didn't have any seasoning or salt on them. The portions are extremely small. The thigh combo came with the house sweet radish and we ordered the sweet and spicy sauce which was the favorite of the person who ordered that meal. My chicken sandwich came with the sweet radish house sauce which I enjoyed. I also ordered two extra sauces one was the soy garlic which was good but sticky like it had honey or syrup. I ordered the ginger sauce but instead got the herb ranch for some reason. I wasn't interested in it at all but I tasted it. I would have preferred to try the ginger sauce. When we went inside there was a table waiting for their to go order and a couple ordering at the counter. They were told it would be 25 minutes. I ordered and it was $27 and some change but she was having issues so she had to rering it all. I wasn't given a receipt and also no number which may have helped her later with customers. A few minutes pass and a couple behind us ordered the exact thing the couple before us ordered. The next couple ordered the same exact thing. There is now my order and three family meals. A worker wearing gloves one white and one blue went to the bathroom and after awhile came out with the same exact gloves on and proceeded back to the kitchen. That can only mean a few different things but if the gloves left the kitchen into the bathroom, they never should have went back to the kitchen. While sitting there waiting, the lady at the counter came and asked me again what I ordered so I told her once more. This was before the woman came out of the bathroom with the gloves still on. The couple behind us had their order ready which was strange since the couple before us should have gotten theirs first and the man saw that everyone before him had ordered but she still gave it to him and then the couple before us got theirs as she tells us that our food is on its way. I'm sitting not upset with the time passing but wondering if that lady is touching my food. I almost cancelled my order. The cashier was doing her best I'm assuming to fix whatever was wrong with her POS system. Which didn't seem to be a problem except for my order since everyone else ordered the same exact thing. However, bathroom hygiene and hygiene in general is a major concern with food. People can contract E coli, hepatitis and many other food born illnesses. If you choose to eat here, make sure you understand just how small the portions are. The coleslaw was a bit bigger than the sauce and the macaroni was just a slight bit bigger. There is a bit of a swaring area with one long table, one table of four and one barstool size table. It is clean and looks nice on the inside. Although my sandwich was good, I definitely won't be returning because of the restroom...

I went here for the first time and it was at night about 30 minutes before close, and they were still kind/courteous. Likewise, the food was still freaking delicious even though I'm sure they were tired and winding down for the day - they still cared to produce quality food, which isn't the case with every restaurant. Also note you can't dine in within the last half hour because they close the dining area. No big deal for me it's understandable.

I ordered the soy garlic chicken sandwich because I saw someone in a review say it was awesome. They were totally right. The chicken was cooked superbly - tender, juicy, hot. It took about 10-15 minutes to cook but they told me that ahead of time, and they make it by hand to order so no problem. I'd rather have that quality than speed honestly.

The fries were also great by my standards. Crispy, seasoned well, fluffy inside. About twice the thickness of McD's, as expected of something more home/hand-made obviously.

They gave us a variety of sauces complimentary (they have a big selection!) and they were all delicious.

Got the 3 berry lemonade and that shit was liquid crack. Dangerous if you're trying to keep your sugar intake down. It's just too good lol.

Overall, it was a great experience. I only rated 4 stars because i consider 5 perfect or near-perfect, so i reserve that rating for the absolute best. So don't mistake my rating for having really any problem with the restaurant. No problems at all, and i highly recommend...

So I ordered this place 2x this past week on DD. The 1st time it was amazing, it was so good, we were happy to have found a new place, especially a chicken place as we don't eat Popeyes or kfc🤢🤮 the first night I had a medium heat spicy chicken sandwich and boy was it HOT! This would be considered Hot anywhere else! I love heat, but this was close to, too hot, but good! Last night we ordered 2 4pc chicken tenders with their hot fries and their supposedly buttered rolls. The chicken was under cooked! That right there is enough for me to never give this business another dime, if you lose my trust 1x especially when it comes to feeding my children under cooked CHICKEN, you don't get a 2nd chance from us! That is going to make someone sick or worse, kill somebody! You cannot play with under cooked chicken! The rolls had NO butter on turn or any butter that came with them, they are nothing more that a Hawaiian roll you can buy a pack of at Safeway for the same price they charge you for 2! The hot fries were spicy hot but cold old fries, no matter how you season them, an old fry is an old fry! That being said I feel I've been generous with the stars i left them, it probably should be a 1 ☆ review serving raw chicken!! Be careful if you eat this, especially if your feeding...
