I got this last night, I'm glad I found this place. Overall very good, but portions weren't amazing. Gonjura Daal--I got it on the spiciest level, "extra spicy." I was pleased that it was in fact spicy, I hate when you order spicy and it's just tame but this delivered. It has a really delicious taste, then you get the heat afterwards, and it fades quickly. The spice is a nice complement but I still got to appreciate the taste of the daal. It came with a box of rice which was really nice and lightly fragrant. However, at $16 it wasn't as much daal as I would've liked Chicken Kati- The paratha seemed to be whole wheat or something? Never had paratha like it. Didn't care for it too much. The fillings were a bit sparse and more pepper and onion but not much chicken, but the chicken was good. Would've liked more filling, and more chicken. However, it was a long wrap-- almost as long as my forearm! Just would've wanted more filling. It was nice and warm, wrapped up in foil. Raita- Good, but thin and almost watery. They didn't fill the container much, maybe halfway. Overall I would've liked better portions but the food was ultimately good.

I got this via delivery service in early September. If you want some delicious Indian comfort food, this is the place. And it packs some punch if you mark it spicy. I got the thali box with spicy butter chicken. The dal tadka was so bomb! Spicy as hell but so flavorful. And the samosas?? The most seasoned I’ve had thus far. The box was perfect if you want a little of everything. And very filling despite the small portions.

Soo... I'm a picky eater.. I never ate here a day in my life nore have I ever eaten Indian food.. I was SHOCKED.. That I loved it.. Enjoyed every bite wait.. I take that back didn't like the yogurty stuff it was too watery but over all it was BUSSIN.. The lamb cooked to perfection, yeah this was pretty good.. And the mango Lassi was interesting, neva had it but for sure refreshing..

My girlfriend and I ordered Paneer Tikka Masala, Aloo Gobi, and spring rolls delivered from this restaurant. The paneer dish was really gross – the sauce tasted exactly like they had just dumped Campbell’s creamy tomato soup on the cheese, and the cheese was rubbery. Neither of us could eat it. Unlike any tikka masala I’ve ever had. The Aloo Gobi was watery. To top it all off, instead of the special sauces that were advertised with the spring rolls, they sent them with two packets of KETCHUP which is absolutely preposterous for spring rolls. Ketchup! I’d rather they sent them with no sauce because the inclusion of ketchup packets with such a dish left me more insulted than disappointed. I do not recommend...

This is one of my two favorite Indian restaurants in DC. The food is always tasty and fresh. I get deliveries for dinner from this establishment nearly weekly. Once, there was a mistake and my food never materialized after ordering hours before. As soon as I notified the restaurant about the mistake, the restaurant's owner personally delivered my food to my door and apologized. Amazingly gracious gesture that was not necessary, but very much appreciated just the same.

Give them a try. You won't be...
