We're in Alexandria from out of town and were looking for a reasonably priced casual restaurant within walking distance of our hotel. This place is conveniently located in the Shops at Crystal City, right on the main road. If one is driving there are multiple parking garages in this area with free parking after 4 pm and on weekends. We arrived around 6 pm on a Friday night and were seated right away. That's +1 for me as I know how busy restaurants in this area get on weekends. Lauren promptly came to our table after we were seated and we had our drinks probably 5 minutes after we had sat down. Since we just wanted burgers that was all we really looked at on the menu but there was also steak and chicken. With all of the burgers you had the choice of beef or bison. I opted for a regular old bacon cheeseburger with beef. Even for a " plain Jane" type of burger it was fantastic. I ordered mine well done and it was still very juicy. The bacon was cooked fairly well but not too the point of being crunchy and falling out of your sandwich. All of the toppings come on the side, so no wilted lettuce on your hot burger. Condiments come separately so you may add whichever you prefer in your desired quantities. My son had the Red Rock with bison. His burger he had medium-well and was also very juicy. The Red Rock comes with Z sauce, which is a blackberry jam concoction, and pepper jack cheese. Even though he felt the burger could be a little spicier, he thoroughly enjoyed it. Lauren came to the table multiple times during our visit to check how it was and refill our drinks and in general was very pleasant and attentive. At the time we were there it was not overly noisy and that was with quite a few tables being occupied. Overall a great place to eat conveniently located within walking distance of local hotels and a metro stop, with plentiful parking nearby. We'll definitely stop in again next time...
Read moreDid not have a good experience. Went around 5pm on a Sunday. The atmosphere was dark and dungeon like. The waitress was over worked. It took over 45 minutes to get bread for a table of 6. My table was what seemed to be the start of the rush. There were two fairly large parties in before us. The seating was poor. Every party was placed right next to one another and the restaurant was not full. The food... oh boy the food. It was terrible. I chose a bison burger, the Canyon Creek. Asked for it medium rare.. the burger appeared to be leftover, thrown back on the grill and steamed. I say this because there was no moisture left in the burger and it was seared beyond a well done state. A member in my party got a cold meal. Another member received a steak that was completely raw. Just not a good experience. The only dish that turned out some what okay was the birthday guy. I would definitely NOT recommend this restaurant. You'd expect a lot more considering you pay $17 for the burger... it should have been exquisite. No one put love into anything during my visit. Disappointed and I will not be going back.
I was told on this review as a reply to email someone from their corporate, that was pointless. This was back in July 2019. After asking what review I left, I have not heard back. I have sent a couple emails and no one has responded. I am highly disappointed and this seems like even more justification to why I had a bad experience.

Read moreThis was my first time to Ted’s and I won’t be back! The hostess never said a word of greeting and sat us with not a word said. Then the server never came to the table for 10mins, no water, greeting or acknowledgement. I asked the hostess to move to the bar in the hope to get service.
I ordered a new York Strip med rare with baked potato. While we chatted over a over salty dirty martini, the manager approached to tell me that there were no baked potatoes. Mind you I heard the bar tender tell the couple to my right they were out of potatoes and I thought I must have gotten the last one, only to learn the bar tender never told me. At the time of the foods arrival, the manager had just approached to tell me. The manager said he only had garlic infused mash option, so I opted for no side.
At this point I just wanted to eat my $30 steak and leave, only to find my steak so undercooked and clearly not medium rare.
I refused the managers request to replace it and ate 3 bites of the slightly more cooked part and it was so over salted I just was done with the entire experience.
The manager came and offered me $ vouchers to return and charged nothing for the bloody steak/non potato meal, but, in truth, I will not return to this location.
All service: hostess, servers, bar tender, and chef all need more training in which the manager agreed and said he has been working all the issues for over 6 months.
