I had been shopping at two of the three Turning Natural locations consistently for the past year when I received a message from Jerri, the owner. Unfortunately, the owner took the side of a young lady who claimed that I had threatened her, and Jerri proceeded to lied about our local police department officers J.A. Knight and N. Holley, saying that they had confirmed her story. However, upon speaking with Officer Knight, we were able to build understanding, and he confirmed that he was using his body camera at the time, which showed that the light-skinned manager and owner of the 2025 location was not telling the truth. The Martin Luther King Jr Ave location manager even offered to make me a smoothie and admitted that the young lady had conducted herself in an unprofessional manner by assuming things and blaming the only man in the shop at the time. She advised me to come back when the girl was not there and asked that I forgive her, as her staff was wrong. However, when I tried to address this with the owner, he came to me biased via Instagram message and denied me service, all while using lies with no evidence as his support, just to block me after. On another note, I noticed that the mineral shots at the store have fluoride in them, which is written on the case they are kept in, Im curious how much exactly, with me understanding it's not a safe chemical in high doses, They also alre always put of items, they will allow you take keep asking for things then waiting to tell you they don't have it. Ā Ā Ā Read moreBeen coming here for almost a year and Iām just over it. The service is just so low vibrational, they give you an attitude first and want to be nice later.
Donāt bother ordering ahead because they donāt accept online orders even though itās an option. If you order ahead and thereās 10 people ahead of you when you get there to pick up, you have to order as if you just walked in ALTHOUGH you ordered ahead online. š
I went in and got the Nipsey blue which is top tier smoothie despite service, She told me it was going to be green instead but will still taste the same. When I asked her why it wouldnāt be blue she looked at me and rolled her eyes said responded why. I think I still got charged the extra they charge with the missing ingredient.
I wonāt be coming back solely because of service, either theyāre having personal convos on the phone while taking your order/making your smoothie, Have the little possibly underaged boy working up front⦠Not worth being irritated for spending $11 on a smoothie with a side of attitude.
I tweeted and posted my experience on IG several others agreed that they now go to the Eastern Market location because of the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDidn't even order because the service was so unnecessarily bad.
I first took a few minutes to look at the menu, which was difficult because it was a video that kept changing instead of a still image. When I decided on what I wanted, I stepped up to the counter to order and after huffing and rolling her eyes, was told by the woman (who was standing in the back and couldn't bother meeting me at the counter) that they only had three smoothies, which 1. makes it sound like they're premade and not fresh and 2. why not tell me you only have three of the eight smoothies available when I was still deciding? Ordered tbe blue bear and asked for spinach instead of granola (because why would there be granola in a smoothie?) and was told "we don't have spinach". Then take it off the menu. Again, weird and hostile interaction for literally no reason. Based on other reviews, this has been an issue for years and apparently management doesn't care enough to make any changes or do...
