Discovered this place while driving by today. Was not too crowded when we went in. Not a very large menu but they did have some interesting options. The slushees have real fruit at the bottom and a hugeeeee variety of toppings that you can put on top right from fruits to gummies, chocolate chips, sprinkles, candy, tamarind and spicy chilli. We ordered the mango slushee with the tamarind chilli straw. Totally love it ! And we got a strawberry slushee with fruit, choco chips and gummies. Both were really good. Also got esquites which was yumm! Esquites also known as elote en vaso is a Mexican snack or antojito. Shops and market stalls selling corn also tend to sell esquites. The word esquites comes from the Nahuatl word ízquitl, which means "toasted corn". Esquites is generally made from mature corn, not fresh or dried. It was topped with cheese and spicy sauce. So good! The place was clean and the staff were very curteous and friendly. They patiently explained what the different options on the menu were. Service was good and the staff behind the counter were all wearing...

However, this evening was a different story and we will no longer be returning. We were told this evening we could not add candies to our chips. That is fine if that is a policy, but nowhere is it stated and the past two times the young man serving us loaded us up on delicious treats. We decided to go back through the line again tonight to purchase a fruit cup so we could try the candies, and then were told we could not have more than 2 types of candy per cup. So we can have 30 different individual candies but if I ask for two spoons of Tamarindo that is uncalled for? If there is a policy then it should be stated clearly or posted somewhere. I did ask one of the polite boys working the counter and his response was "it depends who is working." Thanks for the treats but we will not be returning as 13 dollars for a single cup of chips and a few grapes is...
Read moreIf you ever wonder about this highly-rated place, go check it out yourself like I did! One caveat…there are gnats in the frozen display case! The chicharon is like a fish cracker! What I love about this place is that you get to pick fresh fruits to add in your cup and then they pour the smoothie. Also, unlimited toppings! Been here 2 other times consecutively since my initial visit! There is also one in the Alderwood Mall. Service is phenomenal!...
