Wingo's Glover Park — Restaurant in Washington

I have a favorite bar across the street from Wingos that all my friends from the neighborhood go to, however since Wingos open in Glover Park it's been very busy with people mostly nights. We decided to give it a try last night on a TGIF because I checked the website before going and seemed like reasonable and competitive prices with breadsoda. However, when we got there, not only we waited to order, we waited 20 min for the veggie burgers that we order without sides. Ordered a pitchel of beer, which arrived quickly but never got glasses.. I asked not 1, not 2 but 3 different servers for a glass, nothing I ended up pouring the water from my glass to use it for beer. When the burgers arrived they came with chips. Oh alright I thought they added chips if you don't order a side or it's included (thinking they do that @breadsoda) ..WRONG, they charge $3+ for a handbunch of chips I specifically did not order. The waitress is from Mongolia and maybe it's the lack of communication or English but she doesn't seemed to know the menu or the food she serves, when my friend asked about the soups, she had no idea if they make it with meat or if it was even good. She kindly went to get that info and came back to tell us the clam chowder has bacon.. so I have to say after $25 dls spent per person here, that I will not be coming back when there's a lot better service at the bar across the street and has more tasty...

So this is my second time ordering these wings. The first time I went in spoke with a gentleman at the door he was very friendly super helpful and the wings were delicious exactly what I’d expect from a place with a four star review. The second time I ordered for delivery through Uber Eats they were delayed about 20 minutes, Uber Eats app told me to call the store which I did and they informed me that wings were out for delivery but would be ~20 min later than the Uber Eats app stated. The wings were actually delivered by a Door Dash driver?! Now with crime and scammers being what it is in DC this isn’t a good move. As a safety precaution I didn’t open my door for delivery because the driver said DoorDash and I ordered from Uber Eats. I understand if the store is saving money somehow with the delivery system but INFORM the customer. Secondly the wings were subpar definitely NOT as good as the first time. Horrible. The owner has been rude to me a countless amount of times. I can recall on New Years Eve, I came inside, did not have my id because I was not drinking, he came up to me and asked for id and as I said no, he rolled his eyes and walked away. As for two weeks ago he said "Oh my God" when me and my friends walked in, asked for our ids as if Wingos is not a resturant and then we got no menus but he demanded an order. We were confused about the tip as it was not already part of the reciept but it was written in by someone and as we asked we were given a rude remark. As for recently, I came inside to greet my friends the owner stopped me asked for my id again and proceeded to not let me in due to me snatching my id out of his hand in which he said my attitude is not allowed and told me to get out. I did not have any attitude towards him, or even if I did unknowingly , nothing was towards him but in reality I had other things going on. Night totally ruined. I understand if this has happened once but it has been three times and everything...
