We sat down, a group on 9 of us, which they easily accommodated. We order starters and they came out quickly, as did our entrées. By the time we were done eating, we were waiting for probably 15 minutes for boxes and the check. One member of our party went up and asked for boxes. They were busy... there were 3 or 4 people in line and waiting for food. We boxed our food and waited another 10 minutes or so before our check was brought out. I will absolutely eat from Pattaya again, just to go. I had their food to go 2 weeks ago, same order and it was just as perfect. I get chicken pad thai and I always ask for cilantro and lime, extra if it already comes with it. They serve theirs with peanuts, so I dont need to request it. They delivered on the cilantro! ❤️ There is another place, in Meadow Lakes that when I asked for cilantro (that they served in/on other dishes, was told it doesn't come with it...that dish was like $7 or $8 more than this. Cilantro is cheap. I will never go back to the place in the meadow lakes strip mall. ...I've yet to try the other one). Pattaya is a must! Delicious food, nice portions, and decent service, though had they not been so busy, it would have been better...busy is a good problem to have, maybe they need to add a staff member...for a Saturday afternoon. ...
Read moreI came in at the end of the day, around 8:45pm and ordered pad Thai and the fresh spring rolls to go. The young guy at the counter was either having an off day but definitely not very friendly, but I paid and went on. Food took about 10-15 minutes which is standard for a good meal. After getting home, portions look good, two things surprised me: Pad Thai came with a lemon and not a lime Spring rolls came with a vinegar - fish sauce? Dipping side. I’m just used to the peanut sauce so this surprised me but not why I took stars away For reference, the pad Thai was more on the sweet, tangy side. This was pretty good! The spring rolls had chicken in them that was so dry and chewy it took away from the meal heavily. Pairing that with the sauce only exemplified it for some reason. Also the rolls were made with an iceberg lettuce, I’m not really used to that so wasn’t a fan. If I were to go back and order this, I wouldn’t order the rolls and I would get the pad Thai but with some spice. Though, just because of the cost and the service- for now I’ll try another place to see how they compare. I will definitely go back to try some of the other items though, they looked pretty yummy on...
