I love this place but as of recently it's a hit or miss. I'm going to assume it's due to some employees caring and others just not caring about their job. But I went the other night to order on Friday night and by your online hours it says the drive thru is open til 9:30pm. I've gone before after 9pm and been helped. This night in particular, I pulled up and it was 8:50pm. I was greeted at the drive thru ordering system and was told, "Hi welcome to schlotskys. How may I help you?" As I start to speak I get interrupted by the same lady then saying, "OH! By the way we're closed now." My bf and I stared at our phone with the hours pulled up and questioned her as to why we can't order if they are technically open and her excuse was that all the food had already been put away for the evening and everything was already cleaned up for the day. In which case if that's true, why are y'all still open for 40 more minutes? I understand the lobby was closed but if you go off what your website says online, you take orders til 9:30pm. I just would like management to reach out and explain why at 8:50pm all the food was already put away and why I was refused service even though I saw at least 2 people inside just standing at the counter screwing off. I understand wanting to get out of your job at a decent time but when you stop selling food 40 minutes before you close that's extremely inconvenient for your customers. This is the only location near me and I've come multiple times at night without a problem. Not sure if it was just a couple of specific employees that just wanted to get out of work sooner or what but I really didn't appreciate my experience at this location and I can't get a hold of anyone at this location with the number that is posted online. Can someone in management please reach out to me on this? My schedule only allows me to go at night and I don't appreciate showing up during your posted business hours and being...

I was kind of taken aback here. First, the Google hours say that this location is open until 8:30PM. I looked at the door, and I see that the hours USED to say 8:30, but the :30 had been scraped off, so now it just says 8. Ok, thatās fine. But I was there at 7:40? Why are you kicking me out before you close? The real reason is because we were inconvenient and they wanted to start closing up early. I get it. Iāve worked jobs like that before, I understand wanting to get out on time. But I donāt think you can really tell us we have to leave before itās even closing time? Especially when the hours advertised on the business account show a later closing time.
Anyway, we got the food and sat outside to eat because we werenāt allowed to eat inside. Food was ok. Later after reviewing the receipt, I see that the cashier didnāt even apply the coupon discount, but she did keep our coupon. So we ended up paying full price for food we were only trying because of the coupon, and we had the pleasure of sitting outside in the heat while flies landed all over our food, and the employees inside cleaning up and closing early watched us while we ate outside.
Only recommend this place if you go more than an hour before their advertised...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHorrible....Horrible....Horrible! My mother and I went for lunch today and were served the most disgusting potato soup. The soup was cold, had a sour smell and the potatoes were a weird consistency. After one bite we took it to the front to ask for a refund. The lady at the front was rude and refused. "They Don't give refunds". If we had ate the soup I would completely understand. It's bad enough that we got charged over ten dollars for two tiny soups, but it wasn't edible. If we had gone anywhere else we would have been given a refund. This location must be hurting financially to not give a refund for unsatisfactory food.
To the owner: I have worked in customer service most my life. I know that bad customer service can lose you customers. Maybe some training is in order. Also, cutting corners and not making your food fresh will lose you customers which in turn loses you money. Let's do some math.... 4= my family 2= my parents 4= my brothers family 4= my sisters family ā-----------ā-------------------- 14 Total X $40 each visit -ā------------------------------- $560 X 12 - lets say we go there once a month $6720 annually
That is lost revenue from your pocket from only two customers bad experience. How many customers have you lost the same way? How much money...
