*Meatball sauce in the Eggplant 🍆 The last 2 times I’ve gone in have been horrible. Today for lunch the 3 of us ordered our food, the young deli clerk forgot about our food for 25 minutes, apologized & handed 2 out of 3 of us our food while asking if the food less person wanted to place an order. We explained that the food was all ordered at the same time, she claimed she forgot, said she had a “Brain fart” *The main complaint is I don’t eat meat & can’t tolerate any meat sauce, I asked for an eggplant w/ marinara sauce…. No meat!!! I was hunched over immediately w/ stomach pains and when I asked I was told they take the meatball sauce & throw it on the eggplant! Lastly, I didn’t complain but pulled out a long black hair on my eggplant (I’m blonde) … just sad that our delis aren’t like they used to be. Sad that the only good food is the food we...

Great place and I really like their selection but mayonnaise and american cheese on an "Italian" sandwich? I expected better from a place with "Italian" in the name, that killed it for me. I'm going to give them another try soon because that's something that they should be able to sort out very quickly and easily. Their italian combo was what you get when you order an american combo in most places. Please, please make your Italian combos real italian combos, you have the right ingredients. And please no mayo, IF anything oil and vinegar goes on an italian combo.

I will be back to try them again because they seemed nice and they had a lot of cool stuff in their store you don't see everywhere, and because waterbury needs italian places to stay open. I hope to god they stop that americanized bs, if so...

The best catering service we ever used and will ever use! Everything was absolutely delicious. The price was great! No complaints from anyone. More then plenty of food to go around for 15+ people and after filling container for take home, still had more leftovers. Everyone loved the sauce, meatballs and the chicken was so moist. The salad and dressing was a big hit! Nothing but perfect! Lena, mom and grandma are awesome cooks! Thanks for the great meals and grinders that keep us coming back, also love your story on the website about your family! The good old days... brings back lots of fun memories spent at my memeres on Sundays...
