Giovanni's Pizza Ristorante, and Bar — Restaurant in Waterbury

Food was decent service was horrible from the moment me and my party walked in he said wait was going to be 5 minutes already seemed to talk with an attitude we waited patiently then seat waited 10 minutes for to be asked for drinks then we were also ready to put our entire order in he then seemed upset and said let me get you your drinks first proceeded to bring us our drink then left and didn’t come back for 5 minutes then when he returned to take our order the food came out pretty fast and warm ( got a Large pizza half pepperoni and Garlic bread with cheese ). It was my first time there and i did not feel welcome at all i sat and felt like i wanted to leave!!!! But i stood to give them a chance and do i regret it. Food was decent but service was below horrible!!!!! If i could give this place negative rating on service i will!!!! Service is what brings returning customers and i just don’t ever see myself returning!!!! Highly do Not recommend...

I moved closer to the area.. And ordered 4 times in one week... Called again first person answered and I asked I would like to place an order he said pick up or delivery then he said oh we stop delivering at 9... So why would u ask me.. Then my Bf was going to pick up a girl answered and I asked for specials.. And she said some the i said how pizza specials. Said one the. I asked about appetizers.. And she hmmmmmm I'm not naming all of them.. Snotty voice . There's like 20 ( snotty voice again ) then said there's a menu on line.. Do you want to call me back when you look on line. I want asking you to name all of them i asked what kind you could of gave me the most popular.. Ridiculous. . I said ughhhh and hung up in the middle of my order... Never wrote a review, but I had horrible customer service...... Never ordering...

I waited a long time to review Giovanni’s, because, if you can make it in Waterbury, you can make it anywhere - how did we come up with that? How did Waterbury become recognized as a deciding factor? I remember my Grandparents telling me “Waterbury is a tough crowd”. So bring me a champion!! On stage: Giovanni’s, graced in awesomeness - bring the sausage and broccoli-rabe; the KILLER chili - AWESOME PIZZA! \m/ \m/ And a toast to the greatest city on Earth: WATERBURY!!!! Giovanni’s BRINGS IT - like my mother in law says, “ you no like, no eat!” Hahahaha - God Bless all NONNI and PAPAs - settle in to my family’s place and laugh a little! Try the calamari!
