First, ditch the overly loud A.I. robot "greeter" at the drive-thru, it's annoying. I'd rather just wait for the person I can barely hear over the speaker.
While I've never expected much of anything from taco bell, with the current price for nachos, I expect a hell of a lot more. Utterly disappointing "food".
At what they're charging versus what they are paying for product, there should be bikini models prancing around for entertainment while you wait....not employees looking like unwashed zombies whose diet consists solely of expired restaurant leftovers & mountain dew.
Really, give the employees mandatory hygiene training & inspections. It's as if no one told them about bathing at least once a day or doing laundry/putting on clean clothes for work.
I don't even go inside to order as the place looks like it hasn't been cleaned since it opened a few years back.
If you're hungry but can't afford to eat because the prices are too high, just have a look at the lobby/dining area & you'll be so disgusted that the hunger will disappear for days.
The formerly $8 grande meal going to $11 then $13+ in a few months time & finally completely removed from the menu was a confirmation that cheap three ingredient slop (most of it being shredded lettuce) would no longer would exist & going forward, they'd only serve exhorbitantly priced trash in smaller portions.
What you get in the form of "loaded beef nachos" should be fifty cents. There's barely any beef (yes, I know it's mostly horse meat) so it's $3 plus tax for less chips than you'd get in a 99 cent bag from the store.
Also, if you go late, don't expect to be able to park & eat. The idiot who drives the street sweeper in the lot is a spaz and WILL scream at/threaten you with bodily harm for being there.
One night there was small piece of detritus on the ground next to where I parked, he threw a soda bottle at my vehicle, shrieking "You're screwing up my work, move or I'm going to hit your car".
If you see the methed out street sweeper, be sure to give him...
Read moreI recently visited the Taco bell Franchise on 973 Wolcott St Waterbury, CT 06704. I ordered a number one with a diet Pepsi. The menu says in bold letters three Crunchy Taco Supreme and Includes a picture of three taco Supreme which includes sour cream and tomatoes. To my surprise I was given three regular tacos. I went back to the Franchise and tried to explain the situation to the employee. She was extremely rude and dismissive. She kept insisting that I did not specify that I wanted supreme so I was given regular. I tried to tell her that as a customer I assumed that I would be receiving what was pictured and written in bold letters. Again, she dismissed my concerns and told me to drive up to have my tacos remade. I gave her the regular tacos and I was given the supreme tacos. When I took the first bite of what was supposed to be a comfort food meal for me, after a long week of unfortunate events, I discovered that I was given frozen tomatoes. This was very unprofessional and confusing for the customer. Your employees should not assume what a customer wants and ask their customers if they would like supreme or regular tacos. I would like this to be addressed because I paid for this meal and could not eat it after being given...
Read moreI pulled up to the drive-thru with my brother and my fiance and the first words that were spoken to us were "hi welcome to taco Bell we are very busy tonight so it's up to you if you want to wait but I suggest you go to another location"
not the best way to greet your customer and to drum up business/protecting and building your brand. I should know this because I work at Five Guys and in this line of work telling your customers to go to another location is highly unacceptable.
It seems the taco Bell locations in Connecticut are becoming a little too lacks when it comes to restaurant standards and or company standards, the only way I know this would be because I visited the New Milford location the Watertown location the main Street location in Danbury and the thomaston avenue location and all had the same excuses.
"Our web orders are messed up, we don't sell fried or grilled items at this time, go to another location"... What kind of service is this!?
On top of that there have been out of the locations that I've mentioned that have pre-closed their store 40 minutes before they were supposed to. This is why taco Bell you're getting...
