I used to love this place but I called at 9:06 (they close at 9:30) to order two hibachi dinners and they told me their kitchen was closed already. When I said “but you close at 9:30” the teenager who answered the phone just said “yea I know but the kitchen is closed already”. I don’t understand why they would close their kitchen a half hour early instead of taking the order which I was going to pick it up. I waited to call until 9 because I was at the gym and I have called in my order A HALF HOUR BEFORE CLOSING plenty of times and they have never refused my business, they used to take orders until about 9:20. I don’t expect them to stay open for me but I was literally right down the street and would’ve been there well before 9:30. Ordered hibachi steak and scallops rare steak, what I got was well done steak and chewy scallops, my girlfriend ordered steak and chicken, and the waitress brought chicken and shrimp then told her that was what she had ordered even though she doesn't eat shrimp. Shrimp that I tried and were also chewy, then proceeds to charge us an extra 10 dollars for a side of steak on something they messed up to begin with, meat portions are tiny for what they are charging. Calamari was the only saving grace of this dinner. Disappointed as when I came last year the only thing I wasn't happy with was the portion sizes but this time completely fell flat definitely will not be returning...

It may look a little beat up on the outside, but the sushi here is so good! They put a lot of effort in decorating and showmanship of the plates. The sushi has good portion sizes, and fair prices. I feel as though the sushi was not the most fresh it could have been, but that's probably because we came in on the day before the fresh delivery. I had read in one of the reviews that the customer service was poor, and I'd like to point out I felt very much the opposite of that. Wait staff greeted us immediately as we entered, and every 8 min or so would ask us how we were doing and if we needed anything else. All in all a very pleasant experience!
