From out of town and searched soul food restaurants. We found this place and Oh boy Was it delicious 😋! And it was a great portion. My favorite was the yams. Mr Sean was a great host! (My picture was after I started eating) Pepper chicken, yams and greens. He gave me a sample of neck bones which I’ve never had. Very tender but I’m not really a pork fan. If we are ever back, we are definitely coming back.

Wowww I’ve been living & working in Oakland county for over 6 years and when I tell you this restaurant has not been on my radar.. I feel Like kicking myself in the tail. I LOVE The food here!!! Seasoned, nice portions, freshly cooked and reasonable prices. Makes me want to stop cooking and just add coming here to one Of my monthly bills to pay lol.. try it out-I won’t be disappointed. ~Dora~

restaurant is to small to sit and eat feels more just like someones kitchen instead of a restaurant .. owner was nice we got 2 dinners my yams were salty Mac & cheese was ok and our cornbread was burnt we will not be going back

Wowww I’ve been living & working in Oakland county for over 6 years and when I tell you this restaurant has not been on my radar.. I feel Like kicking myself in the tail. I LOVE The food here!!! Seasoned, nice portions, freshly cooked and reasonable prices. Makes me want to stop cooking and just add coming here to one Of my monthly bills to pay lol.. try it out-I won’t be disappointed. ~Dora~

restaurant is to small to sit and eat feels more just like someones kitchen instead of a restaurant .. owner was nice we got 2 dinners my yams were salty Mac & cheese was ok and our cornbread was burnt we will not be going back

Got me a little of everything the fried shrimps amazing. Didn’t really like the greens a little to dry and bitter needed salt. BBQ rib tips really really good but next I will order boneless to much grizzle. The Mac&cheese was great. Omg don’t leave without trying there baked beans. Will give them another try. The service was amazing very welcoming thank yous and ur welcome the whole time. I appreciate that. Not many business ate offer that anymore. Thanks ladies...

Over the more than 20 years of patronized S&SI have enjoyed the food the friendliness and the cleanliness however at this point I was very dissatisfied with both the food the general appearance of the restaurant as well as the attitude of the server the food is changed drastically over the years is no longer the food that I desire to dine on regularly on the weekend so I won’t return to this restaurant for...
