They recently opened the Waterford, mi location last wednesday. We tried it for dinner Saturday evening. Food was good very good and I will go back because of it. However, they need to train their register employees better Or supervise them or something... I ordered online around 3:15pm. I was told my order would be ready at 4:10pm. I arrived early, they were busy so I assumed my order was not ready yet. I still asked and gave the girl at the register my name and was told 10-15 more minunites. They were packed so I assumed that would be the case so I went to wait in the car. I went back in at 4:15 to see if my order was ready yet. I asked the same girl working the register if it was ready yet (second time telling her the name of my order) she said they were bagging it. I stayed in the building this time to wait. I was right in front of the girl at the register who told me they were bagung it. The same girl, checked the names of the orders coming up but never called out any order names, little did i know mine was there. she just checked the names, said nothing to everyone standing there and went back to playing on her phone. There were now a bout 7 people standing there waiting in this tiny area. Finally a young boy came out looked at the orders coming from the kitchen and looked at all of us waiting and asked if we all had been helped, a few had not and he began taking their orders. The rest of us had been helped by the girl and were waiting for our orders. There were orders piling up on a rack so the boy went over to call off a door dash that had been sitting there. And then a completely different man who worked there came from around the corner and called off my order among 2 others that had been sitting there for quite some time. The girl checked them a few times earlier but never called any names out. Maybe she needs to do something different there if she is too shy to call out name orders or remember who is waiting. The food was very good and I understand they were busy but she just demonstrated lazy and poor service. Not a great thing to see, a sad bored face when you first walk into a business. Read moreHello, I'm a Door Dasher and this place has the unique opportunity to be an amazing resource for additional orders in our area, but beware. Wait times are astronomical here, if they tell you a time add an additional 20 minutes to your wait. Also the store has little standing room, (mainly in the "hallway" to the restroom) so if your out of sight it seems that to the employee's eye's that your suddenly out of mind as well and no longer in the store. I was the only person in the store when I arrived and advised the young lady that I was picking up a doordash and gave the customers name, the order was not ready yet which was fine but while I was waiting more customers came in to either pick up or place orders so to be out of the way I went into said hallway and waited for my order patiently. The young lady was on her phone in between customers and wasn't very outgoing or professional with customers she waited on, acting as if it was their obligation to feel honored that she deemed them worthy to have been spoken too. after checking on my order after 5 minutes and being told it would be a few more minutes and immediately going back to her phone I continued to wait an additional 20 minutes until asking once again for an update on my order to which she rolled her eyes, turned around picked it up off the rack right next to her and handed it to me. So in other words I waited in a convenient spot to be out of the way and she knew I was there and rather than saying anything when my order was ready or even apologizing for not realizing it was up she rolled her eyes acting like I was inconvenience by making her do her job by handing my order to me which a customer had been waiting on for over 20 minutes past my pick up time. Sadly it will be my last. Whoever is running that store should be immediately replaced.
Employees were outright rude and disrespectful to several customers patiently waiting in their lobby. Not a single customer was greeted, and the guy behind the counter carried himself as if the customers were the biggest inconvenience for him.
I had placed two separate pick up orders, first order was due to be ready by 5:52 and the second by 6:02 I was handed my second order first at 6:08 and when I inquired about the first one the employee immediately cut me off midway through my sentence and said “I don’t know they’re probably bagging it up” and walked away from me, frustrated I had went to my vehicle and sent my boyfriend in to wait in my place. When he approached the employee and inquired about the status on the first order he was told “dude I don’t know, they’re probably working on it” and walked away AGAIN. There was no attempt to check and reassure either of us it was in the process of being boxed up. Finally was tossed a mess of a bag at 6:15.
Other customers even chimed in on how disrespectful their employee was.
Don’t care if the food is decent, I’d rather spend my money at McDonalds where they at least properly greet their customers and not greeted with a head nod and attitude or as “dude”
Edit to add : buffalo chicken dip literally had whole pieces of chicken in it as if they just shoved a bunch of chicken breast strips in it.
