Went here today to grab a quick dinner for my husband and myself through the drive thru. After my transaction I waited for my food, opened the bag was missing both sauces I asked for, one sandwich was missing, I asked the guy at the window where my other sandwich was and I needed two sauces I had asked for, on top of that when I went to check my burger I did get in the bag it was burnt and there was half a patty mind you it was a jr. Cheese burger so it was already a small burger to begin with. The guy at the window apologized he was reluctant to take back my burger when I asked him to replace it with a new one and charge me for the second they didn’t add on to my order, then the cook came to the window to argue with me and show me the burger and how “the meat IS RIGHT HERE!” I asked for my money back only for them to shut the window on me they opened it back up five minutes later with both burgers but no sauces I had previously asked for at this point I took my order and left because I knew from the exchange with the cook it wasn’t going to be a pleasant conversation and I was also in a rush. Won’t be going back to this location, very unprofessional and lack of communication and respect towards the customer. I don’t expect to be argued with while running errands and dropping by a drive thru to get food from a corporate fast food chain. (Not so fast food and not so quality food) even our food that was re-made was still burnt, extremely small pattys and still missing our sauces.) don’t waste you’re time! travel three miles down to the Elizabeth lake road location or further down 59 the opposite direction for better service and friendlier staff and most importantly more...

I was served right away and the order was taken successfully. This location does not have a kiosk, so human interaction was a nice change. The awkward part was I was asked what I was going to have to drink. This location has a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine where you have endless options.
All drink options seemed to be in stock and the drink station was clean. The lids were getting low, but there were plenty of a small crowd came in.
The lobby needs some love as it is starting to show it's age. It was clean with no issues but things looking like they are about to fall apart.
The men's restroom was awkward as a onesie. There could easily been a divider placed between the toilet and sink, to accommodate 2 people, but either to save money or poor planning caused this.
The fries were hit and fresh! Unfortunately, the Dave's single was cold and lacked flavor. It was made correctly, just not a fan of cold cheeseburgers.
I love to travel throughout Michigan and checkout various fast food restaurants. As of Wendy's, Wixom has the best service and food quality. This one needs a trainer/manager to step up and turn this mediocre restaurant to a 4+ star location. If the food was hot, I could've ignored the dates lobby.
If you are eating your sandwiches at home, then you have a microwave to heat them up. Eating there is not a...
Read moreAs someone who works in food service, I find that my visit to Wendy's is totally unacceptable each time. The last two times I went I waited at the speaker for 45 seconds without a greeting. A wait of 45 seconds is beyond reasonable, provided that you at least say "hello" and something to the effect of "I'll be with you shortly". Afterwards you'd be greeted by some disgruntled woman with no interest in you or what you were saying, and you'd be shuffled along. Again, I work in food service (Taco Bell, to be precise) and it's reasonable that as the night progresses you'd lose energy. Totally understandable. However, my most recent visit was a shining star of bad service, because I waited in front of the speaker for 3 minutes without a greeting. It was 11pm, and they didn't close for another hour. The guy in front of me had his order taken, and he went right up. I called out "Hello" and "Are you still open?" Multiple times to no response. Eventually the fella behind me left the line, wise enough to identify the horrible service and not waste any more of his time. After those three minutes I hapilly took my business to Arby's.
Honestly I cannot believe that Wendy's continues to hire such disinterested and uncaring workers, almost reinforcing their dozens of one star reviews.
I'll be visiting the Elizabeth Lake location...
