Big Head Burger — Restaurant in Waterloo

If you are wanting a burger (beef or vegan) and haven't stopped here, you are seriously missing out!! We actually came across it by accident and are so glad we did as it easily moves into my top 5 burger list! We had the double bacon cheeseburger, vegan classic burger (photo with the tomato showing,) Big Head Fries and a peach cobbler shake. Way too much food in the end, but oh so good!!

The bacon cheeseburger is everything you want when you think bacon cheeseburger!! You can taste each component and together it's amazing!! You will need napkins!! The classic vegan is also incredible!! Seriously, that's vegan?? If you just don't think a vegan burger can be good, this is the one for you to try!!!

Big Head Fries - you read the description and think that should be interesting but could go either way; who does lettuce and tomato with fries? Well, with all the toppings and the amazing sauce they quickly disappeared, as well.

We really planned on getting the red velvet shake but after asking about the shakes, we decided to try the new addition, Peach Cobbler!! WOW!!! It's seriously some amazing Peach Cobbler blended into a great shake!!! Great recommendation!

Service was great and very friendly!!! It truly felt like they cared that we were enjoying our meal as they checked in with us a number of times and thanked us again when we were finished with our meal.

We will definitely be back as it's easily one of the best burgers in the Cedar Valley, in addition you can have fries that no one else is doing and a great shake!!

My girlfriend and I had heard good things about this place and were eager to give it a try. As a couple of burger lovers, I will say we are glad we did!

The burgers (one double bacon cheese, one single) were delicious. The smash patty is not as dense as some other types which leaves it very tender and juicy and oh so wonderfully able to mingle with the melty cheese and grease. It is indeed a very greasy burger, but in the best way. The potato bun is fresh and holds up well with the burger itself.

For sides we had the big head fries and onion rings. The onion rings were good. Crispy and hot, but not the star of the meal. The big head fries were amazing. The fries on their own would be pretty solid: crisp, potato-y, not over seasoned (which I think is what you want paired with one of these burgers). BUT where the big head fries shine is the loads of delicious toppings. Beef, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, and big head sauce (similar to a Big Mac sauce). Getting these over the regular fries would be my recommendation if you have the appetite.

Oh and a last food aside: get a ginger lemonade. Fresh and spicy and super refreshing.

As to non-food items. The lady who helped us was very friendly and attentive. The service was fast and the prices for what we got were very reasonable.

All in all I would highly recommend checking them out. Good ole fashioned burger stand vibes, delicious comfort type burgers and fries. If thats what you’re wanting, that is what you’ll get a Big...

Feb 28, 2025 | What’s on your mind? I just came from Big Head Cold Burger . I wouldn’t dare get on here if it wasn’t serious or if I could simply just go back and get another burger. This ain’t nothing but built up issues. Like customer service for one, the energy that I get and feel, it’s like I gotta fight for my right to get a simple hot single bacon cheeseburger plain. But no I have an issue every time with something so simple. I asked for a simple bacon cheeseburger plain, I ended up with everything and the world on my burger plus It being cold too, ok cool no biggie I can go back and get another burger. Even though I just sat and waited 20 mins for a cold head burger. I go back and exchange for a new one and received a nice new ice cold burger. I’m pissed cause I keep giving chances after chances and get horrible customer service at that like I won’t say something about it and it can keep happening. I hear everyone be having similar experiences with the customer service but they don’t care enough to say something. On bro, I got a new name for it. Big Angry Cold Burger.
