Finally a local burrito spot that isn’t commercialized or franchised. Placed perfectly off of Route 6 and 63 is this new burrito spot called Casa Grille. As a local Latino, I have to brag how good this place is. Easy parking to start and as you walk in you are immediately greeted. A warm environment with friendly faces. Easy delicious menu with no bull. I spent about $10-$15 each for my entire family and a friend. The portions were amazing and my burrito actually stayed in place and it was pleasant to eat. Everything was fresh, tasty, and I loved the many different types of hot salsa. The Mexicans Cola, outstanding, and to top it off with some dolce de leche, I left a happy fat giggly Latino! A customer for life! Stop by and give these folks your business, that franchised burrito crap shop doesn’t have anything on Casa Grille!

We came down from Hartford to Waterbury to check out some farm equipment and randomly came across CASA, hidden in the historic district. Halal, build-your-own bowls in a Chipotle-style setup, and the food is absolutely incredible. Absolutely fresh ingredients! Just beautiful. Even though the place was packed, the owner (who’s Puerto Rican Dominican) took the time to personally greet us and share a bit about how CASA came to be and that made the experience even more memorable. Halal food with soul and flavor, served with genuine hospitality. I’d recommend the drive from Hartford just for this spot.

Having Casa Grille nearby, I’ll never have to go to chipotle again! The food is fresh and the owners are incredibly sweet! We absolutely loved our loaded fries topped with some of the best guacamole I’ve had, as well as the chicken Al pastor tacos on homemade corn tortillas, burrito bowl, and homemade empanadas. The street corn was a great side, and we loved that they had Mexican cola! The coquito iced coffee and banana dolce de leche gelato were perfect for a little treat. We felt it was really cozy to dine it, but it’s also super easy for takeout. Already can’t wait to come back!

Great casual place to go, I've had chipotle and Moe's, but they never make me want to go back or out of my way unless someone else is eating there. CASA however is def something to go on rotation and take friends too for a quick and satisfying bite. The drink options are great and the ingredients and sauces that make up the menu are very mindful and high quality. It's one of those places where you eat and feel full, but not heavy. Halal meat really is the move.

I had the bowl with steak and their corn is A+, the apple juice was a great fresh pairing for that. We also came in 30mins to closing and service was still quick and friendly.

Definitely want to go back and do a different combination in a burrito with their house made sauces and the hibiscus drink!!! The kind of quality in a menu that makes you confident to explore.

It's pretty small inside, but the tables are a good size and I could see them moving chairs around for wheelchair accessibility. The door goes straight into the order area and eating, with enough space for a wheelchair to order and then some accommodation to reach the table. I did not use the restrooms so I'm not sure if they're big enough. As far as kid friendly, the seats are wide ish if your child likes to move around in them a lot. We went sans kids though so didn't inquire about high chair or use the bathroom.

Parking space is limited but spacious and no steps to get into the restaurant from parking. Wasn't particularly crowded when we went though and it's a good spot for...

We just finished our Sunday lunch from the new CASA Grille. We are huge fans of places like Moe's, Chipotle and Panchero's but they're all so far away. Based on their menu, we were curious if CASA would be comparable. It did not disappoint. I got the chicken burrito, my husband got a steak burrito bowl and the kids got tacos, chips and queso. My husband said the fresh chips were the best part of the meal. My burrito was huge and really hit the spot. Not only was the food good but the place was so nice and clean, the owner and her team were very friendly and provided great service. I do have a few critiques. I prefer shredded lettuce rather than chopped. It's easier to get a little lettuce in each bite. The queso wasn't bad but it was what could only be described as goopy. I don't know if maybe it just wasn't warm enough. Also, the burrito rolling technique could be improved. It became a bit undone by the time I got home. Overall, we really enjoyed it and definitely...

I recently stopped by Casa Grille in Watertown, and absolutely incredible! Every ingredient in it was fresh, seasoned perfectly, and full of bold, authentic flavor. You can tell they really take pride in their food. The protein was tender and flavorful, the rice was cooked just right, and the toppings added the perfect balance of texture and taste & a nice Hibiscus tea to perfectly wash it all down.

Not only was the food top-tier, but the service was just as impressive. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and the whole place has such a good energy — casual but clearly well cared for.

Whether you’re local or just passing through, Casa Grille is a gem that deserves way more hype. I’ll definitely be back for another bowl (or two)!

Ive always wanted chipotle/ halal and the fact that it’s a combination you...
