McDonald's — Restaurant in Waterville

Although the restrooms were clean, there was a stall out of toilet paper. I went back 45 minutes later and it was still out of paper. I ordered a hot and spicy McChicken with no lettuce, plus tomatoes, plus EXTRA pickles. (They don't come with pickles, but the options were light, regular, and extra, I chose extra). When I got my sandwich, there was one big pickle and one tiny pickle. If that is extra, then what is light? What is regular? Everything else was correct. I took it back to the counter, and the very nice young lady behind the counter obliged to remake the sandwich, although I would have just taken an extra pickle or two and ate my sandwich. So they remade my sandwich, and it had lettuce, no tomato.

So I took it up again and was very understanding because it was a little busy, and she sweetly offered to have it remade. I heard her call out the correct order to the kitchen, and it still came back with lettuce. I said nothing. I just went and picked the lettuce off and ate my sandwich Let my kids play in the very clean and fun play place. Then we left.

I called after the lunch rush times were over so I could speak with somebody in management to let them know that the sandwich had to be remade twice and was still incorrect, and they totally brushed me off. That is not okay.

If they would have just taken me a little more seriously on the phone maybe asked a couple questions, that would have at least portrayed that they cared their food isn't coming out correctly.

If they would have just made the sandwich correct in the first place, that would have been ideal. I was super nice and understanding. I still am! There's probably young people working there, they're busy, it's okay. I understand!

I just wanted to let anybody else know if you visit this place, these are things that happen....

We frequent this McDs because my daughter likes the play place. Generally, it's typical of any McDs,although sometimes incredibly slow. It was busy today, but not exceptionally so. I ordered two burgers, one fry and one drink for my daughter and I to share. One of the hamburgers was plain, no bun, with tomato and lettuce (which I was charged extra for). I ordered this on the app, so it literally 100% removes human error in taking the order. It took a good 20 mins to get the order, which was OK to an extent. My daughter can't have dairy or wheat, so the plain burger was for her. We'll, she received a double CHEESE burger on a bun with mustard and ketchup. I can remove a bun and condiments but not all the melted cheese off the meat. I gave the establishment some grace and instead of complaining, I just ordered another one. IT TOOK AN HOUR FOR ANOTHER BURGER AND IT TOO WAS INCORRECT WITH CHEESE! My four year old was so hungry and literally couldn't eat anything I had (she ate some fries, but they also have some wheat in them, so couldn't eat too many). While waiting for said burger, there were people that had come in from the drive thru asking for refunds because they had been waiting so long and people returning food that was either not as they ordered or completely the wrong thing (one women was returning nuggets because she ordered a burger). Complete disaster. I gave them 2 stars, because this isn't always an issue, but generally speediness is not great...

Always slow 9 out of ten times they mess up your order, forget a sauce you pay for, forget to add what you paid for to the 🍔. mcdonalds makes it pretty easy there are grill slips you have to put on the wrapper the order pops on the screen. usually the person making sandwiches should have a headset on so they can throw buns down as they hear it. all things that are clearly not done to either make the order right or make the line go faster do manager not care about drive thru times?? Either the person on the table isn't paying attention or the supposed to be manager doesn't care enough to Read the grill slip , could be that they clear the orders too fast that's a no no doesn't really make it faster because the total time will be the same what you gain for one car will be added to the next . I keep seeing that people complain about there food being cold at night, after 10pm isn't it supposed to be cook to order all I have to say is mcdonals employees better hope the 15$!!!!!!an hour minimum doesn't pass cause if you haven't figured it out by now the chances are slim, Mr robot is coming for your job. like I have said before mcdonalds makes it easy the whole system is already there tried and tested. I know this for a fact that every mcdonlads is supposed to operate the same so you can go anywhere in the world and work...
