management is very rude with little or no customer service experience. the outside cart area is absolutely horrible and gross, with trash in the carts, used diapers and in some cases dog bags. when the problem is brought up to management the attitude that is given to the customer is outrageous. the store is nice and the selection is good but the customer service is bad, the employees need to be retrained on the meaning of customer service. the attitude in the store is that the customer means nothing just come in and spend your money. they have forgotten that with out the customer they would not have a job and that needs to be put back into their daily routine or more and more customers are going to shop somewhere else like my family has...

They are an overstock store so some of the things they sell could not be sold elsewhere otherwise they wouldn't have those items. You have to learn what's good and what's not because some items are near their expiration date or are of poor quality. For example most fresh beef items are of poor quality except the corned beef. On the other hand, you can get some outstanding wines for five bucks a bottle. The produce is surprisingly good. If you shop at the Santa Cruz store they have a wine guy who's wine picks are listed on the shelves. Overall, once you know how to shop it you can save hundreds of dollars a month on great...

The aisles were clean and clear and when I asked an employee where something was, they instantly knew the location and walked me to it. Getting through the check out line was my fastest experience ever.
