Review for Kong Burger – Watsonville Visited on June 10, 2025

I decided to try Kong Burger after seeing good reviews online and reasonable prices on their menu. However, when I arrived, the prices were not updated — the burger cost $10.99, fries were $3.99, and a coffee was $5.99 (and it didn't even taste good). I ended up spending over $24 with taxes without getting the quality I expected.

The place was dirty, the environment was unpleasant, and there were no restrooms available for customers. The owner kept repeating “best burger, best burger,” but unfortunately, it was far from it. I’ve had better food at lower prices elsewhere. The burger seemed like it had been reheated in a microwave, and the coffee was overpriced and worse than Starbucks.

We have found our breakfast burrito spot! Kong's makes a really filling burrito that won't disappoint. It is not very greasy and everything is fresh, and the portion you get is more than enough to fill you up. Kong's also has an orange sauce that they make homemade and it is AMAZING! My husband asked for a small cup on the side and it goes great on the breakfast burrito. If you go here, never leave without that sauce it goes great on anything.

Pretty much everything on the menu is really good whether its breakfast or lunch you are looking for this place won't disappoint. I believe all the ingredients used are organic and he and his wife have a very healthy cooking style. The bibimbap is my absolute favorite item. Its very healthy and always fresh, much better than imuras dish. Definitely one of our favorite spots to eat in...

I recently visited Kong's Burgers, a place that had great reviews online, and I was in the area, so I thought I would give it a shot. Unfortunately, it did not live up to my expectations. The burger I ordered, the King Kong Burger, wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. The staff upsold me to the King Kong Burger, claiming it tastes better with more "good stuff." Feeling adventurous, I went for it.

To my dismay, the King Kong Burger was underwhelming, and the hype seemed unmerited. Adding to the disappointment, I received a warm can of Coke Zero when I asked for a cold one. The customer service was lackluster, and the overall experience left me with no desire to return.
