Where do I begin... Went to see about selling a diamond and gold ring I had and never wear....the guy talked me into just doing a loan for 100 so I could get it back because it's a nice piece. I decided to go ahead and do the loan instead of selling. He told me that if I decided to sell it still after paying off the loan for 120 he would buy it from me for 100. A few weeks later I was short on money for my daughter's birthday party and decided to sell it. A different guy helped me and only offered me $40. The guy that helped me before was right there and I explained that he had said before he would do 100. Mind you this is a $400 ring. $40? No thanks. And I find it hard to do further business with them or refer them after seeing first hand how they will try to swindle returning customers. No thanks. On the bright side this prompted me to make an ad on 5mile and I sold my ring for $250. So while I can't recommend these scammers, I would definitely suggest selling your items on 5mile or letgo apps instead so that you get more value...

I have to commend the staff at Family Jewelry & Loan on their excellent staff and Customer Service. Luna, Oscar, Judy, Zak, Jason and Evelyn have always displayed kindness and excellent Customer Service. Whenever I have visited, I have always been greeted with a smile. No matter what reason you have for visiting, you are greeted with respect and courtesy. They are fair and stand behind their products. I recently purchased a Vacuum Cleaner that didn't work. I had no problem returning the Vacuum and was issued a credit for my purchase. I recently visited the Belvedere pawnshop to purchase a Tablet. I was quoted one price, but when I came back to purchase it, the sale woman there reneged on the price that she quoted me, and the Manager there didn't honor the price that was quoted. I was truly disappointed and the staff there laughed at me, as if I were a joke. If you need a loan, or are just looking for a good deal, you can't go wrong with Family Jewelry & Loan. If I could, I would give them a 10...
