5+5+5+5++🌟 Hopefully, everyone can check out this new establishment. As you know, the other drive-thru eateries didn't last long here. I believe it was a Hardee's and then maybe a Dog and Suds or something like that. Unfortunate. Green Tea, has the chops to make it here. We have a lot of Asian eateries in the area, and this is a very good one. On top of that, the prices are extremely competitive with its neighbors. Obviously, it took a lot of work to upgrade the building, that's not cheap. The food is inexpensive considering the cost of food is rapidly rising. Excellent flavor, and they are amiable to adjust according to taste. If you're on a budget, this would be a place that would fit in. Everything is fresh, the vegetables very crunchy and not blanched into mush. I would suggest you check it out, support local business! My wife was extremely impressed with the young lady taking the orders at the drive-thru, she said she was very sweet and kind. The food was prepared very quick and very good. "Not like Popeyes or JJ fish", where you can pitch a tent and build a campfire before you get your food, lol. "C&M Chicken and Bobadad" is really the standard bearer concerning Asian cuisine, I love South Korean cuisine! "Green Tea" slots in the upper echelon of Asian Fare. 🤔I have 236 million views, so I think I do pretty well spotting quality. The ownership of this establishment should be commended and be very proud of their good work! 😋 I would suggest everyone read the introductory statement by the owner/owners of this wonderful establishment, I couldn't say it any better. Like Arnold Schwarzenegger said in the Terminator, "I'll be back!"

When it come to a new Chinese restaurant, i must taste their beef fried rice as my first test. You can tell a lot by a restaurant by how they cook it. And the way they cooked it here was spectacular! So juicey, so warm, so yummy, sooo much food! They even included a side of spicy mayo without request (this isn't something I've ever been provided without a formal request)! Critic on the homemade lemonade: It was more sweet than tart. It's not my personally favorite but was satisfied. I will return soon to try more. Very impressed. Update: The lemonade is now the best thing in town! Im not sure if they changed the recipe, or it grew on me but it's now 10/10! To all my lemonade enjoyers, please come by and have a taste, this isn't a drill.

So, I hit up Green Tea Chinese Drive-Thru in Waukegan. Looked like a quick, tasty fix, right? Wrong. The pictures online? Liars. Straight up. My plate looked pretty enough, I'll give them that. But the pork? Dude, it was like they marinated it in pure, concentrated "too much." Just way overpowering. And the beef? Sour. Seriously, sour. I'm talking "did I just eat something that's been sitting out too long?" sour. I was expecting a decent, quick meal. Instead, I got a visual feast that tasted like a flavor disaster. Super disappointed. Maybe stick to the egg rolls, or something? I dunno. I won't be back for the pork or beef, that's for sure.

This Chinese restaurant is so delicious! I requested that we go out to eat Chinese for our birthdays because we have 3 birthdays to celebrate in November. I came across this place online. Read the reviews and boy you guys did not disappoint. I got the taro Boba tea, the beef egg foo young, and the vegetable lo mein. Taro Boba was so delicious!! I think there might be dairy in it though because it was very creamy and delicious. I asked the lady that took our orders and she wasn't very specific on if there was or wasn't any dairy so I just took a lactaid pill to be safe. (If any of you guys find out about that please let me know). Beef egg foo young was so delicious! It comes with a brown gravey and white or fried rice. They all pair nicely together. Lastly I got the Vegetable lo mein! This lo mein is so delicious! They use the traditional egg noodle which I LOVE! The sauce is plentiful and COVERS the noodles!!! Which some places try to use the barest minimum of sauces. Wow. I had such a great time at this restaurant and so did my family. Portion sizes are amazing! You get the best deal for your money! My parents got the small shrimp & beef fried rice and vegetable delight. They loved it! Plenty of food in one container. They pack it to the brim and even still it looks like there is more to go around!!! Sister got the shrimp lo mein, & shrimp fried rice with a soft drink (pepsi products only), other sister got steamed dumplings, shrimp fried rice with teriyaki chicken and veggies and the homemade lemonade with boba added. They loved it!! I tried the homemade lemonade though and it definitely tasted like country time hahaha (but hey if that is true at least they took the time to make it lol). Brother got the house special lo mein & strawberry boba! Those items never came home with him because he ate and drank them ALL at the restaurant! (Brother is super picky about food too). Lol for 5 people we spent close to $100, but trust me the food was GOOD. Don't take my word for it. Go and see for yourself! The one thing I will comment on is that the food comes in take away containers even if you dine in. I get that it is mainly a drive through or that people order carryout so they probably don't exactly see alot of people dining in but we dined in and there were a couple other parties there dining in while we were there as well. I would have liked to see some kind of dining ware although they did have a type of foam plates at the front by the register they were a bit strange looking lol. I never have eaten from a takeout container whilst dining in at a chinese restaurant so that was a first for me. In the end it became more convenient for us though because all we had to do was just close up our containers containing the food that we didn't eat so I'm also 50/50 about changing it up due to efficiency. Just something to note. Their cups are also so sturdy and nicely designed and the environment looks so nice. It feels good to be inside the establishment. I hope this restaurant stays around for a long time. That building used to be a different restaurant not too long ago, I think Long John Silver. Lol we never went there when it was that but now that Green Tea is here we will be visiting...

This place started off so well but lost there care for customer request very early. This is the second time I have had an issue with getting fresh food from them. The first time I returned my food due to it being over cooked dry and just not edible. When I returned the food the cashier told the cook who then came out from the kitchen and insisted on debating me on what fresh properly cooked spring rolls were. I had to tell him that if he wanted to give me old overcooked and dried out food they should not charge full price. I went back again today hoping for improvement. I ordered fresh spring rolls emphasis on fresh. Once I got home and opened up my food it was the farthest thing from fresh and again not even edible. I refuse to even complain to them but would just like to make everyone aware that they are reheating old food and serving it like it is fresh. Places like this should lower their prices or not be in business. If I was able to post this disgusting picture I so would. But trust me I would give this to my dog even if I were out of...
